Just watched Paprika. It was as Satoshi Kon as ever. I liked it.

You're a day early. 21 isn't airing for another 9 hours.

Haha.

That would be such a troll

I wish the following existed:

A netbook or small laptop (about 12-13" max) that has a 1080p screen(for reading manga), a good battery life (for reading manga), and a decent price tag ($500 max).
Unfortunately this does not exist, as far as I know. Perhaps my prayers will be answered in a year or two.

My keyboard also has some random 5 macro buttons on the side. Never even touched them, except when I occasionally clean my keyboard.

I saw it up on AnimeTake, but I have never heard of it, and therefore didn't bother. Tell me if you liked it after you've watched it.

It's not yet finished, no. Episode 07 is the newest episode.

Not really a point in waiting for Blu-ray, the 720p's are just fine, and this show does not have any censored scenes either (not surprising, since it's a really serious shoujo).

This.

In this case (Sukitte Ii na yo) I think watching it episodically is better, since it increases the dramatic feeling of the show. But I guess marathoning it could work just as well.

There are however shows, like Uchuu Kyoudai, which would be extremely boring when marathoning. This is because it moves really, really, really slow. It doesn't bother you as much when only watching once a week, but when marathoning, you shall be bored out of your freaking mind.

Nexus 10 or iPad 3/4 plus bluetooth keyboard... Cough cough...
I don't know much about android tablets but my iPad is absolutely beautiful for reading manga and books. The retina display Is great. And, 10 hours of battery life, more if you have the brightness lowered, which you will if you're reading manga all day.
A tablet is also more convenient for reading manga because you can use "portrait mode" or vertical depending on how you wanna say it, to get each page of manga to use exactly the whole screen so you don't have to scroll up and down or squint at the small text...
Just my .02 though

Just decided to start Muv-Luv Alternative VN

(Not to be confused with Total Eclipse)

Why? because it's the highest rated VN according to VNDB and the ONLY VN with an average rating over 9/10.

Gorgeous wide-screen:

Anybody have "Dancing in the velvet moon" by Mizuki Nana in their music library?

Is it just me or is this track horribly distorted and clipping at the beginning?

I said 'laptop', and yes, laptop. Because I also want to be able to do school work on it, which requires either Linux or Windows, since I need to be able to run Mathematica.

The Retina iPads seem awesome for reading manga, but it's not practical for school work, so I'm gonna have to pass.

It probably doesn't matter anymore. -__-

They pretty much only want to go for a pre-built one. Thanks for your help though. I was kind of looking forward to that feeling of accomplishment when it was all done, and I'll probably end up with something rather inferior now, but oh well. First world problems...

Skipped from this point, so someone might've suggested this to you, but can't you look for computer stores in your area? I'm sure at least some of them can build a computer from the parts you choose and buy in their store for a small additional fee (around $15 when I asked here in Poland before one Christmas).
Unless it's what you mean by "prebuilt"...

@rikkun
We finally agree on anotherthing smily_headphones1.gif

Anyway, you arent asking for too too much butthere just isnt one really. And if there is, you are going to pay a premium (Macbook Pro 13" Retina)

@borisu
I thought about that game too. They say it is HELLA long though. Use a walkthrough for the onanoko you choose or forever cry as she dies when you get bad end or good end and not the true end. (Confusing right?)

Ill have to finish up a drug that makes you dream before i continue to anything else.
Are yougetting your games off chase or bad nyaa?

now I have to post in BBCode frown.gif

I'm liking Muv-Luv Alternative's graphics, sound and game engine.
The game engine has built-in binaural simulation and EQ!
Just one problem.... the auto read function is WAYY too slow even on the fastest setting.

How much hair gel? biggrin.gif

Nyaa. I forgot about that list when I was getting it lol.

What? there's only 1 ending and choices makes no difference to the story whatsoever!

Lol

You idiot, according to the laws of anime. A persons hair and relative use of hair gel is equal to how popular it will get. Look at Yugioh! GET IT RIGHT. You must get on my level. Duh!!!!~~

Where you ever in the span of your life that which we call a 'kid'? It seems not.
It seems like you didn't even have anything one could call a 'childhood' at all.
