They don't have that. I have bought plenty of stuff from there, but never found those things.

Born in Taiwan, but grew up in Canada. I've visited my relatives in the Netherlands, though I've never been to the Chinese supermarkets there.

 

Have you bought bags of rice crackers? They should be in there.

I just thought the tissue was cheap and pretty (well, prettier than some alternatives I thought up, since I still have no idea where you'd buy bubble wrap) and you could have use for it afterwards, unlike with bubble wrap.

 

Boris mentioned that tissue may make poor padding because they're tightly packed but as kalbee can probably attest, those tissue packs are actually quite soft and cushy.

 

Anyway, here's the post I was hoping you guys would dig up, it was actually posted quite a while ago

The things I buy from Chinese supermarkets always consist of cans or instant noodles. They don't come with those packets.
