Even if this episode is so suprising, it still has the famous faulty execution, plot layout and how it just does things and go around the episode. Very sudden haphazard and awkward events, timings, lines comming out and etc.

I'm beginning to wonder if they only have the illusion of budget. Some of the animation still is very lackluster.

Yeah, very rushed, and the animation takes serious hits sometimes. It is very normal to have not drawn out people but close ups of medium quality people that dont' look like the actors is a problem. Another one is that I have noticed differences in character looks and style throughout the episode. They just look a bit differnet sometimes.

At this point I am seriously again questioning the anime again.

It does so many things right but also so many things wrong

It's plot and characters and how it is going about it. It's themes and things that happen that deal with their relationship is something not typically seen in such a visible front page anime such as this but its rushy nature 8 episodes in, poor execution, lack of true character development, 360 degree understanding of a character and what they do or want also creates problems.

The ED's end sketch also draws huge suspicion.

It was horrible yet interesting. It was so random, so weird as to what the hell happened and WHY they would choose such a  (one word spoiler not really as ep 7 preview showed what happens)

for the group of students and why they would go about relationships that way.

The story just doesn't interest me at all. The episodes are really unconnected I think atleast. Its just like oh look I'll pull out this void and it does this thing.. cool. Whee. Bored.

Finishing FLCL while waiting for champloo to download.
