WELL YOU ASKED WHERE THE LEDs ARE!

lol it's alright, doesn't have to be dead center.

But we haven't decided on which volume knob to use yet.....

You won't loose or gain anything. CIEMs have very low performance:price ratio. So unless he have heard flagship IEMs, he won't appreciate the sound of CIEMs. Though if it was me, I'd take the jump anyways. My principle is always "get the best, forget the rest". It'll save money since you won't have to spend on unnecessary stuff

I'd go with which one is easier to fit in if I was on the move. I think IEMs win this

TOMOYO FTW!!!!

Y U NO COMPREHEND BOWEI?!

I think I should build and sell my own O2 to get some cash. Too bad not sure about the case though...

So the headphones jack will be lowered? Awww...

How big will the ABX box will be? I should start searching for a case soon

I got my CIEMs mainly for the customization LOL

THIS. Though I still like kotomi better, because

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Osananajimi

because bowei. wink.gif

foxconn worker #2 :D The demand for Obj2 seems to be quite high around HF.

Yeah, the case is kinda hard to get unless batch produced in china.

Maybe we should so a group DIY O2 project and sell them cheap for the DIY experience (and avoid MoT status)

Bowei's idea, he said there's some problem with the HP jack being in the center.

I don't remember what....

You're going to put it in a case?

I'd need to make some minor changes in drawing then....

He said a lowered jack will put less stress on the jack and cables. Makes sense.

That's a few. I'd like Mugi-chan on my first pair of course. Maybe another waifu on another...hmm...

Is it really possible? Never heard of this one before (though someone did mention in this thread before). I wonder what are the processes involved

Why Frogbeats BTW? Because it's LFF approved? I'd stick with more experienced companies for now though

And lol, AT wings?! ugh... how in the world can I make that I wonder :S

Well if I do manage to make one, first prototype is yours LOL. I don't see that day coming though so don't look forward.

Actually I have a very good idea how to make one just don't have materials and tools for it so forget it anyway lol.

SCORE!

Maybe someone in the DIY section would know how to do it.

400

First prototype LAWL!!! Looks like it has a car's suspension LAWL!!!

Of course. Your CIEMs shows who you are

Kotomi is on my 3rd loved character~. Plus, Their childhood friendship wasn't too deep (probably because the main storyline is mainly about Nagisa

I think I should build and sell it locally LOL. Probably naked for cheaper sell. But I still have to get the PSU and case so that more people will buy anyway. Shouldn't be hard. Too bad I can't build the ODAC

Not Bowei, it was Rikkun who said what Kalbee said. Bowei said it was actually fine since he had the same scenario on one of his amp

You didn't think that I'd let it get dusty did you? But why do you need to change anything? All I need are the measurements

Not really just that. I talked to two other owners who also own the Tg334!s and in some areas, the Frogbeats outperform them.

@graph the sub notification frequency going stupid is a known bug and has been noted by joe (HF admin). I made a thread already and it's still not fixed yet AFAIK.

Put the clannad reply in a spoiler!

Because the switches and LEDs are mounted on the Prefboard!

I'd need to get you panel-mount switches. (next time I go shopping.)

@mech

I just did some measurements on the DAC: (in mm)

1000

Height of tallest Cap: 34mm above PCB

Height of USB connector: 11.5mm above PCB

Diameter of Coax RCA socket: 8.25mm

Center of Coax RCA socket: 6.5mm above PCB

Make the holes 2mm bigger for human error tolerance

Like I said, just remove it manually. Worked for me and no spam went to my mail anymore. You don't have to wait for the fix

Strangely though, the notifications that went to my mail are all from this thread and nothing else, even if I subscribed to them

In case you're interested about the C4s, here is some info I got from pming the member

Quoted from Rakan
"I can tell you that the C4 totally outclasses my UM Mage. About the 4ai, unfortunately, my 4Ai wood faceplate has some cracks maybe because of the tropical climate here, so i sent them back to Dr.John for repair. From my memory, i think the C4s beat the 4ai completely regarding the soundstage and imaging. The Bass of C4 is tigher, more focus and goes much deeper. The midrange is more neutral than the 4Ai and maybe a little smoother. The high of the 4Ai is harsher and not as detailed as the C4s. My current ranking for IEMs is something like UM Mage < Phonak 232 ~ 4Ais < K3003i < TG334! ~< C4.

Regarding the comparison against the HD800, well, it's not easy to compare a flagship fullsize with a CIEMs, but i think the HD800 drived by my B22 and EE Minimax DAC is more neutral, accurate than the C4 with much more impressive soundstage and imaging. However, the C4s is smoother and less edgy than the HD800 which makes it easier to listen to. I think very highly of the HD800 but only when i use it for some genres like Classical, Soundtrack and New Age. When it comes to something like Pop, Vocal then the HD800 is not good while my C4 play them quite well and my TG334! handle these genres perfectly."

And...

"The TG334! have a fuller and extremely smooth sound. Moreover it is quite neutral and transparent with a tad of warmness so the vocal feel very musical, very easy to listen to. The first time i tried the TG334! i was very impressed by the way it renders the vocal, no IEM thus far has make me feel like this. Comparing to the fullsize world i would say the TG334! midrange is quite similar to that of the LCD2 or the STAXs.

Regarding the comparison to the C4. The midrange from the C4 is not as full and smooth as the TG334! but it's still very good. The C4 is more detailed and accuracy because TG334! sacrifice some degree of accuracy for its smoothness. Regarding the bass, C4 has better low bass than TG334!, as LFF said in his review, the C4 can go very low. On the other hand, TG334! is better than the C4 both in quality and quantity, but to me, i want a little less mid bass from the 334. The high of the C4 is also better than the TG334! to my taste, it's detailed and accurate while TG334! smooths things out more, this results in a non-fatiguring high and almost no sibilance on the 334. The C4 has more sparkle in the treble region also. As for the soundstage. The stage of the TG334! seems to be quite dense and focus a little in the middle because of its slightly forward midrange while the C4 spreads the instruments all over the stage with accurate position. Therefore, when you listen to Classical, New Age or Instrumental music then, obviously, the C4 will beat the TG334! smily_headphones1.gif. I was very blessed to have both of these great IEMs, i think they complement for each other very well and handle every genre i throw at them with ease. And you should note that i use my ipod touch gen 4 and IP5 as the portable source for these IEMs."

LOL the stungun is called BIRIBIRI biggrin.gif

@EveTan

Though, there is an important factor of comparing a IEMs and CIEMs in their comparison. So I'm only 95% convinced. Unless someone compares the C4 with FitEar's customs and say that the C4 beats it, only then I will be convinced 100%

(FYI, I'm biased towards Japanese products wink_face.gif)

@Boris

LOLOLOLOL!!!

Is that from BTOOOM!!! ?

(For those who don't know, "biribiri" is the term used to describe "shocking" effect)
