I just check with them before buying anything and sometimes my 10-20 calls because of a super deal annoys the hell out of them. So it's no different really. And it's getting hard to know who's money is who so she just wants to get it over with.

So yes, I can buy that game I wanted. That TV on sale right now that looks cool if I wanted or tenga. It doesn't really matter, it is just hard for her to keep track of who's money is who's.

You realize a debit card works just the same as a credit card for online transactions right?
Also, a checkbook isn't that hard to understand. You write down how much money you put in your account and how much you spend...

Or you can be lazy like me and not keep track of it in a check book and just use online banking...

Also, aren't there other problems with buying tenga? Like when it arrives in the mail, when someone cleans your room, when you get careless, ect?

Close to about. Credit or Debit, all about the same.

All packages that are addressed to me are never opened by anyone else. I buy stuff and receive review packages. I can just tell them that it is a review package. Seriously.

Cleans my room? Nobody does, but sometimes they go in looking for stuff. The Tenga that is cheap is one time use only anyway but you can re use it as vortex said. I have a lot of space to store my money and stuff I may want to hide. I have shelves and pull out drawers where all my extra parts and electronics and wires are. I can hide it easily in there.

I'll take a pic later.

I used to be responsible for 3-4 rooms but now only two of them. My office and my personal room. I used to also be responsible for the basement home theatre center back when I watched TV A LOT or console gamed a lot but I don't anymore. And the third garage used to be also taken care of by me as all my motorcycles and bicycles were in there. Now its filled with all our motorcycles and misc stuff. My two rooms are both about 100-120 sq ft each. So not that big in any way anyway.

Good luck with that then...

Yeah. I would like my office station in my own room but they don't want me staying in one room all day and sleeping with "electronics" so they just gave me two rooms. I guess it's fine as I have a queen sized bed so I would barely be able to fit my station in that room or walk around. Whatever, I keep my Mac in there and use it at night time if I want. She has no problems with that.  (yay for illuminated keyboard)

I'll be building a portable set headphone station in my room soon. By that, all I mean is an amp and DAC. The Mac already has a pretty good one and I only use IEM's or portable headphones at bed but I have extra stuff lying around anyway. Now that I think about it, that idea sounds stupid as my music files aren't even on my Mac. I could move it to a NAS (local only) but I would then first need to move all my files form my Ext, and convert the entire HDD into Mac OS journaled. So it is a pain.

Not sure anymore.

My parents are funding my desktop for when I go to college next year. I'll try for a smaller case maybe. But I really want a Mid ATX. II don't want too many fans or noise or venilatoin as it needs to go under a desk or somewhere else.

At this point, I think I'll get one of those VERY minimalistic cases that HAiburi likes. Or even a Source or something. I don't want it to stick out too to much.

I'll also drop in 8GB's into my Mac and put a 256GB SSD into it.

So yesterday me and my friend were in Guitar Center and he wanted to get some headphones for max $50. He ended up buying some AKG K44's. I listened to them, and I have to say, they seemed surprisingly good. They had way too much treble and also a lot of upper mids emphasis which made things thin and honky, but the quality of the sound was very nice, and the sub bass was actually audible. With EQ, I think by memory :\ I'd take the sound of these over the SRH440. I'd definitely take them over the MDR-V6, TMA-1, and possibly the HM5. Maybe I'm just crazy or an idiot, but it was weird. The pads suck though, but suspension headband for the win :)

You can make the wackiest headphones sound awesome with EQ.  Ask me, I've done it tongue.gif Question is how complex an EQ we're talking about

Is your computer in the family room? Some of my friends are?

I actually don't like this arrangement. Because we have a lack of rooms due to my mom's GENIUS idea, I have to sleep on a temp bed in my comp room when visitors come. Genius right?

I wouldn't mind a nice sized desk in my personal room and hole up in there all day.

I'm still deciding on cases. Crappy looking $30 case so that it doesn't arrouse suspicions, mid ATX case with gamer style, or minimalistic style mid ATX? The minimalistic is a combo. To most, it wouldn't look expensive while it can still house and provide good cooling and match my Mac EXTREMELY well. Or just one of those ITX box cases but those won't do either.

I may just go and get a crap dell case and stick $900 worth of equipment in there.

My desktop is in the family room, which is where I end up doing anything that requires writing more than a few sentences...

I use my Netbook for anything else in my room. Also, my TV and center channel speaker kinda took up my desk... so I use my bed for schoolwork now.

But, is sleeping with electronics supposed to be bad for you or something?
I have all of my electronics in my room, including my HTPC, netbook, and iPad...

My room is only 120 square feet (approximately, may be less), so I'm also limited from that perspective. I have a twin bed and then all that crap. Still gives me a decent amount of room for my office chair, but not by much.

Any more than 2 people in my room at once is too many...

Also, if you didn't see my room pic I posted a while back I'll take a new one and post it since a couple things changed...

Take a new pic,, All I saw was Chase's really messy room.

Nice Review.

No, some electronics produce a VERY high pitched noise. Even I find it VERY annoying. But my APC Back ups can auto shut down once the main line is off so that it won't produce this noise.

TLDR!

Some good news for you guys, I got another request filled on what

I emulated the Wii at 30fps [MH3Tri] Still though it ran like 10% slower than on the wii [des[ite 100% fps] but I'll tweak it later or run some low fi mario games

and lastly buying a Bravo V2 Hybrid Tube Amp soon, since I'm working now :3. It should suffice as my Desktop amp until I can get well a better desktop amp :D

On that note GOOD NIGHT, I'm trying to get Nfs Mw to run at high res... running into all sorts of foolish problems >.>

Oyasumi! I'll take a picture tomorrow when you're on and post it.

Surprisingly he got his room cleaned up recently...

Huh, I haven't heard it with any of my stuff. Oddly enough once you tape off all the lights I find the fan in my HTPC to help me go to sleep at night.

Skipped lots of posts but what led to the talk about credit card vs. debit card?
I don't see the problem with a credit card actually. Just don't forget to pay your fees, and if your card does not charge you for anything other than interest rates for late payment, then it's essentially almost no different.
Step up the game, you use your credit card with a debit card mind set like me: have a general idea of how much $$ is in your bank, and NEVER go anywhere near that amount. Pay off the balance immediately once it's been registered. Debit > Credit? nope. Just about equal or better depending what kind of reward plans you can get.

Review package of ...tenga? biggrin.gif lol
post #40559 of 119827

I didn't read what happened either, but yeah...credit card is seriously no big deal as long as you pay attention to what you're doing. I only spend money using my credit card if I know I have an equal amount of money already in my checking account (or cash I am about to deposit or whatever), and I pay back the money in full instantly, like within a few days of the purchase.

I've been really busy the last few days at the studio 24/7 because my band is going to be in a "battle of the bands" show next week and we're preparing stuff and practicing.

Yep... ppl need to stop being scared of credit cards. It's a tool, you have to use it wisely. Just don't turn yourself into the tool.

All the best for you and your band!!
