@P-H

If by "top and bottom" RCA, you mean this:

400

...just...no. That's amazingly un-ergonomic.

However, if you mean this:

400

I'm fine with that.

Why sideways? Easier cable splitting so that they don't go on top of each other?

Say you have this:

400

Now imagine you have a pair of RCAs plugged into the top ones. Now say you want to go and plug something into the bottom ones. It's really hard because the top RCA cables are completely blocking you, especially if you're trying to reach around the back of a unit and don't have tons of maneuvering room.

There's nothing weird about "sideways." Tons of DACs or amps have it laid out that way. It's easier to work with. How is splitting something up and down or side to side more difficult? Makes no sense...

good point, measure it. (I'm in school right now)

LOL so there's another 2 nuts that go on the RCA? Does that part of the RCA jack go on the outside of the case or inside the case?

I can't measure it right now because I'm not at school :/

I think it would be nicer to do  L  R

                                           L  R

It's not like you're going to be plugging two things into this at once, that would be really weird...

But that doesn't change the placement of the actual RCA Jacks, just how they're wired and such. You guys can figure it out :D

YES! I just did some maths, and if I leave my computer on for the next 7.3 days, I will have 10000 bonus points on JPS so I can get the 70GB upload bonus!!!!!

Why?

That wouldn't be weird at all. It depends on the person's setup and usage. Why introduce the possibility of inconvenience and make it less flexible when that can be easily avoided? That's just bad design.

Alright, makes more sense now :) I'll fix that tomorrow if I have time.

I also, ahem, bought a copy of solidworks for my computer, so I will install it sometime this weekend. Thing is I need to be done working with it on school computers because I have the 2012 version.

Thank you!
Also, if you're still looking for stuff to download off what, could you get the 24 bit 2009 Beatles remasters and reup them for me?

omfg, I just saw the anime Arata naru sekai, world start and what not that I posted yesterday and I have been forever saving this episode.

I am mind blown for the remainder of the week.

This only episode is like shakespeare. You like books but Shakespeare is shakespeare, nothing really actiony going on, but its themes and flawless executions, characters and how even though some parts make you question it, it gives you answers but leaves more questions.

no plot spoilers btw in the following

What makes this OVA even more mysterious is that there is little info on it and prior novel and manga are limited and focus on different things. This episode is the only one to be made it seems. Its animation budget is pretty high though mysteriously. It doesn't have A grade artists but they protray the characters we know nothing about very well (one of them has a sizeable amount of work done though).

It gives you the most confusing situation you can sit through while acknowledging that they know that its awkward and confusing and that their predicament, style, emotion and how they go about their day is just different from how one of us would act given the situation. However it slowly somewhat explains this. By the end of the journey, it is compltely just a journey in that sense while still retaining the flawless execution it had at the beginning building some elements together and leaving the rest for the viewer to go online and search about and find nothing on.

The background music of this anime is unnoticeable until the end when a beatufiul bgm fills the set. Looking back, it has been there pushing the episode on the whole time, so unnoticeable but so situationaly important!

I'm not sure what to say about this. It may have been utterly boring to some, but to others it was done extremely well. The pictures and adaptions of it may lead one to think that you can find more info on it or on the adaptions but in reality, there is little. The main pic, utterly baffles me as to what it includes what it does and etc etc.

I recommend you guys check it out. Its a 24 minute episode and is more of one of those wordly anime. No real "action". The style is similar to that of Makoto Shinkai's Voices of a Distant Star, one of the last decades masterpieces in Japanese short animated films.

You may or may not like it but hey, its only a episode look. Just go and check it out. Dont try to overthink it or anything, just watch it.

They aren't in 24 bit. Only FLAC o_o. Unless you have some magic .wav file glasses I don't have.

Just wanted to show this picture of how a j-cord should be worn

1000

Notice the shirt clip clipped some way below the j-split (which is behind my neck) and clipped high up on the left (right in the photo).  This gives sufficient play to the cable to both buds and will let you wear them as comfortably as with a Y-cord, with the added bonus that they don't dangle in front of you as much getting in the way of things when you take them off your ears.
