Everything new and upcoming is instantly a Messiah-something, proven sight unseen and sound unheard, and anybody that disagrees are heretics and blasphemers that should be burned at the stake and their lineage ended to prevent its heretical offspring from spreading blaspheme against the Messiah-something.
Hype is fun.

wrt me calling bowei pedopanda: Your creepy love for that toddler in whatitscalled family harem thing, that even Tilpo dislikes. And he's the nearest version of alternate me that like SoL, harem, etc. His mind almost operates like mine, and that's kind of creepy and astoundingly interesting at the same time.
*sigh*
Hina-chan?

Little Busters, but the thing is. Our thread didn't do that. Everyone including me was a huge skeptic of what JC Studios could do and we were right. IT pulled off a job that I won't even include in the Key universe.

I won't (maybe) call you a pedopanda again, ever (not promising; it will depend on my Cynicism and Poison meter in me).
Time to sleep and reduce the CnP meter.

It sounds stupid in general lol.

I have much love for Nfs U2 so I'm going to do a video walk through of my self playing it <3 figured I'd share my fist clip with you guys! All videos will feature low quality audio and video but :D it will be fun to watch if you like racing games like I do <3. Using a program called Game Booster to record, and the audio is from my crummy speakers to the mike that sits on my desk. I might use my big speakers but that would piss my step dad off a little. I'll have my own bgm as well :D so check it out if you guys want :D
here is le link
I'm playing in true 1920x1080, I found a hack for it some where so yay'z :3
Yay, an NFS fan as well!

Every time I see a thread for something new and upcoming with "appreciation" in it, I hope to god that it bombs, fails, crash, burn, explode and massacre really really really hard just for those that are waiting for it to be hurt emotionally. Or something. This goes the same way for any other thing that's new and upcoming and people are praising it just based on small teasers. This includes, from this season's shows, Shinsekai yori before I picked it up and heard that people are saying it's going to be great. Same thing I wished for for GC when you guys kind of hyped/liked it. Likewise SAO and Accel World. Wonderfully, GC seemed to have crashed and burned hard enough that some of you guys are in despair every time it's brought up.
The only thing that frustrates me about this thread is I can go ten pages with very little anime/asian music talk <_<. I like lounging around too but I mostly come here to talk about anime..which is why I don't post as often anymore. Nothing wrong with that, just got a lot of other places to attend to and it's hard to find the time to post a lot on them all. Seeing as I have a ten year old account on one of them, I like to go there the most.

If it's a thread to gather thoughts and expectations, then it shouldn't be called an appreciation thread. I don't think anyone can appreciate something that is either a vaporware, or something that nobody has any experience with other than to go from scraps of marketing. English is a vast language. It could, and should be named as.... *drumroll*... a discussion thread.
GC didn't end up being the Messiah anime from whatever season it is, and a lot of people, including you pedopanda, IIRC, are disappointed by that. It's basically schadenfreude for me.
Literally arguing the semantics of a thread name lol.

No, that is a misconception on your part due to whatever reason. Scouting various forums and places with a lot of anime fans, as well as having a good IRL base of anime friends myself, allows me to at least get a good look at what is seen as the next "messiah" or not. Now that being said, Guilty Crown was seen as being possibly one of the next big things. But an ORIGINAL anime with a big budget and a lot of names behind it generally will be seen as something to look out for. This type of thing happens in any medium that is ongoing with constant production of product. Movies, TV, etc. They all have things that people get hyped up over. That doesn't mean people crown it as some "messiah" or something. It's just average anticipation for a big title. And right now in the anime field, the last big hype title was Psycho-Pass(which does not get a lot of talk here) which actually so far is doing alright in living up to it. It's in a build up stage though so not much it can do.
Opposite to Psycho-Pass, Little Busters has been seen with a good amount of anticipation, even outside this thread. People were wary about JC Staff but all and all, people still stuck to their feelings that it would be good. People make fun of them for a lot of things, but JC Staff is actually a very competent company. They produce a lot of turds mind you but at least once a year they make an anime that I feel is special in it's own right. This being said, Little Busters has met mixed results. A lot of people(like me) feel it has been complete ass but still hold out hope for it's future seeing as it is a 2-cour anime and needs time to develop and get past at least this arc that contains the WORST character in anime I've seen this season. But some people think it is actually pretty good or at least decent. So yeah, it wasn't seen as some "MESSIAH!" but it was a well talked about anime that isn't living up to expectations.
But seriously what is the matter with that? That's the beauty of a medium that grows and moves on as time does. Sometimes you get **** and other times you get beauty. That's why I follow anime, movies, and tv shows. You can always count on something to keep your interest.

Why do we call the people that get hired to drive the rich and powerful's cars chauferre's? The latin root of the word means to boil(chauf) and the chauferre was the guy that was hired to boil water to produce steam for the cars way back then.
While it isn't exactly accurate, it is a word deeply engrained in people. For example, some of my impressions I have had to call Reviews or else nobody would be able to find them (they were all longer than what most people call "reviews").
I am disapointed but at the same time since it never was anything at the end, I don't know what it could have been exactly and so I don't go around putting GC on my list.
When did I get pedo panda name?
I'm disappoint.

Same, I did post the entire list of JC studio anime they did and explained that they did have quite a number of winners. Quantifiabley more than Kyoto anime but by a percentage chance, Kyotoanime has a near 100% depending on how you look at it (Rikun) or a 60% in my view while JC studio has a 10% percentage of good anime.
It was such an ass in the first episode that I can only utter the prhase that mike uttered at the other key anime, "The hell is this crap!?"
I am enjoying a few this season :) So yeha, look on the bright side.
I have lots of hw now. See you guys in Two hours.

I will say this, and this is probably the last post for the night: wrt Hina, it's creepy as **** for me since to me, it looks like it's been designed and drawn with the explicit conscious thought that it's aimed solely for malicious intend. Yes, I know I am talking out of my ass, but I can't help but feel that way whenever I see any picture of it. It's made all the more worse that her older sister are shown to be behaving rather sexually attracted to their foster father or whatever fantasized weird thing they thought up. It's another anomaly in this stupid hobby for me, kind of like how I can like K-On S1, but nothing ever again after it. I can read, and did read quite a few, of loli doujins, so the fear of seeing Hina in any doujin must not be why I dislike it so much. Maybe it just looks so... over-stylized moe, or something. I don't know, it just seems... wrong. No problem with seeing Yotsuba, or whatshername from Usagi Drop (yay for me forgetting her name, and I claim that I love that manga). No problem seeing and reading anyone their age dealing with tentacles and monsters and other stuff in weird and peculiar ways. But I somehow have this instant gut reaction to hate, dislike, despise Hina.

Let that CnP drop
Many anime are like this, its not just papa no iukoto. Thinking about it is weird, enjoying is should just be done.

I forgot we had French fluent people on this thread.
I actually learned that in French class today and thought it would be nice to use it.
Hahah, right!?
But yeah, at $27, I'll just make these my portable IEM's and save the money on real IEM's for the time being as I save up for the LCD 2.

Elaborate please, as I tried running a 3.5mm from my head phone to my Mike and well that was a disaster... I'm bad at this recording stuff and anything you have to help would be greatly apreciated!

That makes no sense.
Your headphone jack is an output, but a microphone is an input device.
I think deadly was referring to recording sound directly from the computer's sound card completely in the software domain? No mics or wires or anything involved?
