Basically all iPod classics are compatible but you can't boot original Firmware alongside rockbox on 6/7g.

Hmm if I can get a 7th gen for ~100 i'll probably get it.

 

Also thinking about returning my vmodas, I still have 31 daysish left in their money back thing. Doesn't really isolate all that well, even though I did read that before, not sure why they advertise as noise-cancelling. Also, I don't think I really like on-ears to be honest. Plus I don't think it'd get any use at all when I decide to get ciems.

Personally, I keep a pair just because it is nearly indestructable and can handle my rough usage. It's also alot easier on my wallet when compared to other higher end cans/IEM/CIEMs

Maybe my sense of weight is off right now but 1.4kg aluminum case sounds hardcore over-designed in terms of making it sturdy lol.
Making mine own is only last resort. Plexiglass is atypical for electronics housing as it isolates much more than it can transfer heat.
Yeah must build up better time management skills. And actually study every day.
High school was a joke. In 5 years (we count middle school and high school together here) I must have studied a total of some single digit number of hours, and still passed with flying colors.
Not including time for doing assignments.
But I regret it as now I don't have the backbone to sitting down and studying habit.
Are you sure they aren't marketed as noise isolating instead of cancelling?
Either way, that could only mean that they're not fully open back since anything that isn't fully open back has some degree of noise isolation. Which is kind of stupid anyways since people always complain about isolation issues with V-MODAs.

Yeah, I can't stand on-ear designs, and not having isolation for portable sucks.

So, by a coincidental and fortunate (for me) turn of events, I'm going to end up getting the Paradoxes much sooner than expected. LFF just received my T50RPs this past Friday, but Paradoxes will be shipped to me by the end of the week.

 

I think you subscribed to the Paradox review and tour thread. Hopefully the impressions so far doesn't color too much of your pre-impression.
