Same thing can be applied to audiophilia.

Same thing can be applied to gaming. But that hobby is mainstream enough such that most people don't think that anymore.

I got an upated post above. But yes. I wouldn't say we are Otaku's as that generally also puts a pre conceived notion that we buy all the goods and have houses filled with it, and so I use enthusiast loosely. But like Rikkun feels, they can feel however they want. Anime is a mother trucking haven.

No idea what weather is like in your area, though. In the Netherlands I can manage without a coat up until mid-November/begin December, when the temperatures in the morning fall below 5C.

I could never stand even below 20C... That's the thing we tropical people have

Or the fact that to the incompetent, anime = H

There's more to anime than some **** fantasy about a stupid harem consisted of some retarded group of women and a no-face, no-personality Faceless-kun for the otaku to project themselves into it. Just like there's more to novels than some **** fantasy about a stupid reverse harem consisted of some retarded group of male vampire and werewolves and a no-face, no-personality Faceless Jane for the lonely women to project themselves into it.

There are many good starter anime, it depends on what though. For one, Manveru was a bit of a starter a while ago and I would not have recommended FMA to him :) I have a know how of his tastes now.

Haha. I think the first anime besides Ghibli or pre-Ghibli stuff I saw was Cowboy Bebop.

It's astounding how you keep missing the point. We are enthusiasts one way or another. We wait for previews of next season's shows. We flipped tables in joy when there's some cool new anime that we love. We despair when an anime that we love is canceled. We share, we listen, we search for the songs, the images, the who's who and what's what of anime that we like. I can say that is what enthusiasts do, even if we don't indulge in wanton merchandise purchasing consumption.

EDIT: now with a better word.

You'll get the poison of buying the merchandise anyway

I don't miss the point, I just go off on my own points. That is probably why you guys always think I miss it. I just add on to it with my own flavor usually.

I MUST SEE!

My sister saw it. The concept is definitely neat with "Game Jumping".

Holy crap Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn

This is the trailler for it. The whole 5 episode series is out and finished now. If you like the trailer, watch the series. I personally thought that it was pretty good. The series are all availble online. On Youtube.

My friend had me watch it during Sandy when he was over (he had no power). It was decent.

Kirby games are fun to play. I've played mostly the games where you have to eat enemies to get power with the exception of Kirby's Epic Yarn (fun, playful game). I remember having one for the Gameboy Advance SP (I had a red one in my house. I still have a charger and games. It works fine). I think it was Nightmare in Dreamland. I've played Kirby and the Amazing Mirror on somebody else's DS lite a really long time ago. I don't remember. Other than that, I tried Kirby's Return to Dreamland, which was cool but honestly the game's response to you mashing buttons was horrible. I remember on the Gameboy that Kirby would act immediately, which would save your rear end in a lot of situations. I have Kirby Squeak Squad somewhere in my house.

Don't let numbers kun get to you. You were gone for a few days so he didn't know what to expect.

All's fine. Mechy took it, and even if you didn't want it, I have a few other out of threads that have the money for a $150 desktop O2 and would buy this unit if I told them what it was anyway. All is fine. Now stay and be haiburi.

I may wait for blu ray like the introvert I am with movies.

Epic Yarn was the last game I played before I lost all interest in video games. I liked it. It was very fun and relaxing. Pretty to look at and the music was just fantastic.
