For someone that has no information of anime culture other than the hearsay that all we do is look at childish-looking, well-endowed 2D girls, wanking all day, it's a good thing to start of with something drastically less of that. Or barring the second part of what I just said, just someone that has no information of anime culture at all.

No idea what weather is like in your area, though. In the Netherlands I can manage without a coat up until mid-November/begin December, when the temperatures in the morning fall below 5C.

It was 30F this morning. Or around -1C.

I see. Those are temperatures during the night, but during the day it gets up to 12C here. So no coat necessary.

Yeah, watching my anime the other day, I wonder how "childisih" this may look to others and also brought me a thought.

If the anime industry is so engrained in where the majority of its content is directed towards 21 y old buying otaku's and Japanese children watching TV. Than what am I doing? Could this euphoria I get watching anime be the same one that I got years ago watching cartoons?

Well its around 6C now because its noon, but I'm usually up and out to classes around 7 or 8. Lucky you. Though I like wearing jackets sometimes. Depending on how much I paid for it and how nice it is I want to show it off...

I don't care. I just watch anime, and that's the end of the story.

I absolutely hate wearing coats. But that's also because the only one I have that is not worn out is an bright blue sports jacket. I hate it.
I'll probably buy a nice warm cotton winter coat in the coming few weeks.

You're missing my point, panda. I'm insinuating that people that doesn't know any better see us like some losers that only likes fantasised young girls. It also doesn't help that most of what's mainstream is either all like Naruto or Bleach, or just something ecchi.

I just re read it and I didn't either.lachen.gifWhat I meant is that so many of the non mainstream anime have girls that are visually made to be very cute with very perfect body proportions and risque situations.

I won't pretend to know what you're trying to convey here, but if what I'm guessing is right, then that's where your error is. You think like an enthusiast. People looking into this culture probably see that you're some no-life running away from reality and just cope with yourself by fapping to fantasised settings and characters that's not remotely realistic. Same thing can be applied to audiophilia.
