You should definitely watch it if you're even remotely interested in anime at all, it's quite good. Long at 37 episodes, but very very good.

See, that's where I disagree.
It's not really that good at all.

Though I must agree that it's an excellent anime to recommend to people who have not watched a lot of anime yet. I wouldn't recommend it out of my own experience, but I would definitely recommend it out of the experience of others.

Manga was better imo.

Too bad there's no follow-up picture showing she's crying. That would be moe as ****, and it would be hilarious to see otakus scolding the child for running away. Also that Tsukihi in the background. <3<3<3

@Death Note

It was entertaining, though yeah I don't really think it was actually all that good.

It's pretty good for a mainstream anime... But not the best anime out there lol.
Lolololololol halo 4 fanboys defending their stupid little game against my review: http://www.amazon.com/review/RK79KSGHOBMNB/ref=cm_cr_rev_detup_redir?_encoding=UTF8&asin=B0050SYX8W&cdForum=Fx1CBUZN3LY7XKC&cdPage=1&cdThread=Tx1MS6K3E08A0WA&newContentID=MxEUU6110BCZ5S&newContentNum=4&store=videogames#Mx10MK9IJ8M9C2K

DBZ doesn't count if you never knew it's an anime. wink.gif

Fullmetal Alchemist is a good starter anime too, IMO. It's okay, since my taste have matured a lot since that, but really the first anime (non Brotherhood) is a good one to start off with.

Really? I really do think I have a very fast growing beard or any other hair on my body. I don't think it's THAT much after a month though

This. Though I prefer the manga since there's more story in it

So tonight I had an event rehearsal where me and my friends are going to dance a Japanese traditional dance. At the end of the rehearsal, the guy said our performance was not good and needs to be more energetic. This I understand because I was nervous since this was the first time I tried dancing the traditional dance on stage

But then, he said something like, the song is very dull, so you need to be more energetic so that the audience won't get bored. I was like WTF is this guy. I was so angry but I didn't dare to start a fight because it may cause trouble for my club. Never have I felt  such disrespect to one's traditional culture. As if he expected us to dance something like Super Junior or something. So in the end we had to change a bit.  really felt down because of that idiot

TL;DR, Someone disrespected a traditional culture which made me wanna beat him up

No. {I really liked it if I added Chiri's opinion on it, but then it'd dilute the funniness of it}
I'd rather start of someone with FMA than cultivate them to become more lonely otakus.

Mine grows more than a mm per week. If I leave it for a month I have a pretty decent beard, in length.

I've been growing my beard for about 4-5 weeks now, and most of the hairs are over 1cm.

@Scream

Death Note, his name is L

DBZ is very mainstream, however it is also the basis of many of anime enthusiasts first animes. Including one of mine. I dind't care for it though

@Rikkun

Yeah, may be a troll, or failure to read picture caption?

LOLOL, I must use a master pokeball to capture it! Quick! Rikkun, Tackle!!

-Rikkun Tackled- 30hp damage

The Wild Miku is now ready for pokeball capture!!!

Many people are like us :) We like Death Note. Hey we are the Anime thread for a reason, it would suck if everyone thought the same fricking way. I would never have seen Madoka or Steins Gate otherwise.

@Jgray

There are many good starter anime, it depends on what though. For one, Manveru was a bit of a starter a while ago and I would not have recommended FMA to him :) I have a know how of his tastes now.

@graph

Don't let that arse get to you! One slowly works up. Now spike your hair up, pull the face you did in the picture and walk up to him when he is alone, he will shart bricks.

BAH... That's nothing when compared to mine. With that timeframe, I could grow at least 2cm. Though my beard only grows under the chin and won't join my sideburns
