I recently discovered the packages TikZ, CircuiTikZ, and ChemFig for Drawing / Graphing, Circuits and Chemistry respectively...
and Wow are they Powerful!! With these, I can do just about anything I'd ever want to do and for FREE biggrin.gif

The only downside is that it doesn't help me with rush assignments LOL.

Except TikZ is not exactly user friendly. I know several people who have mastered it, and it's quite a lot of work.

Yeah, I don't have a job or any solid source of income, so money can be tight...
Luckily I sold off my old 5.1, did some computer work for someone locally and sold off some s*** I was beta testing and modded some xboxes. Once I get the money back that I lent my mom I'll have ~$250, enough for a project H (I think we need to keep H in the name... idk about you guys but my friends always say H as a codeword for hentai, so plz keep H!)

Fffffffff I'm so tired. Shouldn't have stayed up til 4 am reading initial D. Its pretty good, I like it atleast. Seems to provide some cool info on cars though its probably all bull~. But I like sports type mangas and stuff so its probably not for everyone. The art is pretty shoddy too.

+1 don't be so spoiled. @bowei, we can't really be deciding how deadly's contribution goes but whatever the case I can manage without a split of it; better off using that share for someone else that actually needs it.

@Hybrid, it is true that many asian parents are like that but don't forget that this is where culture shock and generation gap needs to be alleviated. If you don't inform your parents, who will? They can teach you all their wisdom, but some things simply does not apply with different time and location factor. If anything, as I suggested previously, ask bowei for his unit and see if you can otherwise convince your parents that you're buying from a friend or buying in person. The other one goes back to bowei.

On another note, where does one order a UD100 anyway. My brother would be interested since he has AMP w/o DAC.

Correction, my mother is safekeeping the remaining $500 because she doesn't want me doing anything with it. The other $500 I have available right now could also be taken away and thrown into a CD, even if the interest rates are horrible.

Wish I could have a few day off school too, but the storm doesn't seem to plan on coming that close to here. Winds >50km/h expected along with rain but... ahh well, meteorologists can't always be relied on anyway.

Does anybody else want it? I always feel guilty about getting something without giving something in return (something common in Chinese culture). That and I might end up just giving it away if I don't like the sound of the CS4398, or I don't have space for it at all (with my current desk, there's no place to put it). Mshenay and Mech are viable options.
