I was under the impression since its a donation to the project those funds would go to decrease the overall total costs lol. Its fine if it doesn't its just the first logical conclusion I jumped to.

OMG LaTeX IS AMAZING!!

I recently discovered the packages TikZ, CircuiTikZ, and ChemFig for Drawing / Graphing, Circuits and Chemistry respectively...

and Wow are they Powerful!! With these, I can do just about anything I'd ever want to do and for FREE biggrin.gif

 

The only downside is that it doesn't help me with rush assignments LOL.

The problem isn't that he needs the money. He needs to learn how to ask and convince. He will need to pay for shipping and Mouser adapter anyway and so that defeats the purpose as he will need to buy stuff. If you wish to relinquish your unit, I would say for either the funds for that unit to go towards a MINUS in cost for everyones units so about $15 and also allow mechy, or mshenay to get on. Or hey, even give it to them who don't have the financial means to own one.

You need to ask and convince, you will need to buy the Power Supply or wall wart anyway. You have a $1000 Audio budget. It is not fair to get a free bee when you yourself haven't put much effort into asking at all and also being indescivie and looking at other units at the same time. There are other members that would like one but just don't have the money. For example Jgray. He needs to actually buy food. He has no money other wise. You have the money but don't want to ask to use it or convince it.  What about Mshenay and Mechy? They want it, but they don't have the money.

Borisu was in the red back then so I said I'd "lend" him the money to keep the project going.  I said I would use the money if I find some cool toy I want to buy from the mad scientist in the future biggrin.gif

I only have $500. Get it right, bowei. Anyways, that might drop because I still don't have a proper desk for a computer and 2 monitors. I have a small one upstairs that can barely hold the two 19" 4:3 monitors I'm going to use unless my parents are willing to let me spend $200-$400 on another monitor (I'm tempted to get one of the 27" Korean monitors but quality control sometimes scares the heck out of me, and they aren't the nicest looking things every, and I won't be able to take advantage of such a high resolution). Maybe a few dollars for a good task chair.

Mshenay and Mechy both want the unit. But guess what? They aren't going out and spending above their means. Mshenay is selling units so he can try and MEchy doesn't have the money. Jgray, is using his food expenses. Your budget is $500 for audio because you ttook the last $500 and want new monitors and setups.
