@mechy.
We cant do two designs. Too much cost
@graph w
Youcould have directed it at haiburi
But for the stx, all you need is the right pcie slot on your mobo. And done. Most motherboards should come with the one it needs
But why stx? The project H should measure and be much better
@manveru
Side buttons? That could work as i will only be using optical
How about
Power button and light on front with jack and knob. Gain and i/o switching on the back?
How about glossy black color so it matches my audio gd? :P
True. And this is like the starving student project lol
Oh well
Well, for comparison of course! Plus, I think I'm using that for gaming and Project H for music. That is, if the STX IS for gaming
No back button please
Glossy = fingerprint magnet
SO many prawn hentai (darn it) ANIME!
I could make my own seedbox lol
LOL!
Dunno how long is your flight, but I always just sleep the whole flight so that I won't feel the pain in my ears

Its akito the exiled. Its a 4 part movie series. You are in luck. Part 1 just came out. Blu ray comes out next year so no use in waiting.
We had discussion on it last week.
It is in the same time period as code geass and makes references to it but it focuses on another part of the world. As it was made after code geass and needs to be interesting. It has many continuity issues but hey. Its a movie. Its cool

Check it out
I'm a patient man

Hey all, I'm back.
I'm taking a break/quitting GW2, don't really have the motivation to play it anymore. I gave out my fortune to random friends I made in-game. There goes about 500 hours of playtime over the past month and a half, crazy.
I don't think I've used the headphone rig at all in that time, it's time to power up and listen to some tunes.
Oh, new season's started, anything good?
Okaerinasai~
How's your imouto doing?

It can be done, but DIY dynamics are tough enough.
That is, making the enclosure is a lot of work.
I picture 24TB instead.
Or less but then in a RAID config.
I don't really care, to be honest. I should get a new HDD sometime soon, but otherwise I find my 2.5TB total more than enough.
I think making an enclosure for the headphones is harder. Though I may be wrong
My total storage of 5.5TB isn't enough (not yet anyway)
The thing that should be missing are the buttons at the back.
It's subjective. I wanna know how's an objectivist's answer LOL
I think I like the manga version only. What was the last of S2? Haven't watch it yet
Too bad Haiby won't like it though

Im loving my seperate unit idea
all those single units that i wish i could use a dac with the amp or an amp with the dac. No more!! Want an amp for that dac? Heres an objective 2 with bb op amps. Want a dac for that amp? Heres a flagship cirrus logic that kiteki likes! Price? Before shipping, if we get enough people it is looking like its $150
Isn't the original O2 does not have op-amps? I wonder if it's possible to hear the amp with and without the op-amp

Just watched ep 1 of Bakuman S3.
It reminded me of two things:
1) In these kinds of shows they always portray human behavior a bit off... I mean seriously, when does hating your rivals as much as they do here ever occur in the real world? Sure you can hold a grudge, but out right hating them? And multiple people on top of that? Furthermore, the relationship between the protagonist and his girlfriend is very unrealistic.
2) I don't like how shounen stories like this make almost zero progress. I would love to see Light spoiler. The content is obvious after watching even episode 1 only (Click to show)
I think the manga went downhill or unpopular in the rankings. So that's why it ended too quickly. Plus, the objective was set since the beginning. Siko gets an anime and marry Miho. Since both was achieved, the author ended the story. Plus, I'm sure the readers don't want another extended series*cough*narutobleach*cough*
You could have ordered it when you need the extra parts if somethiong went wrong. Like build with what you have. And if there was something wrong, then only you order the replacement and the part you forgot. If everything should work as intended, then only order the part you forgot

Lock indication for the DAC. Indicates whether or not it is locked onto the signal you are sending it over USB or whatever.
As for the I/O thing. This is how I understand it. There is one button and just one button. We've been referring to it as the "I/O button." Pushing the button toggles between two states. Let's call these States X & Y.
State X = Internal DAC and amp are in use. In other words, DAC accepts USB or coax input, which is then sent to and output from the headphone amplifier.
State Y= DAC and amp are disconnected from each other and now function as two separate units. The DAC accepts USB or coax input and outputs from it's RCA line outs on the back. The headphone amp will only receive any analog signal coming from it's own separate RCA line ins.
About state Y. I'm assuming both the AMP and DAC are on since I don't think you have channeled the power separately. I think
Dude, I told you I said yes (though I don't think I can help funding it, but I'll pay the full price of the finished product)
And also, the STX comes when I will be getting my own desktop. So, that is at least, next year

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-10-07/oreimo-2nd-season-animated-by-a-1-for-next-april
Fully confirmed now, it is animated by diff studio though. But with same "staff", no idea what they mean by staff, animating staff or voice artisits
I can believe this one because the first time they announced the S2 was on april first
WOOT! WOOT!
Though I just wish the LN is translated regularly. Even the anime is more than the translated LN
Ah...I love April. Why? Because my birthday is usually on the same day as the spring release
I think the same "staff" refers to the same cast. I mean, who want's to hear a different voice from the original cast right? I think this is like when Ironman's partner in the first movie =/= the second movie
Really? Though I have never watched To Love-Ru to see if the drawing is the same or not
