Don't know the exact amount yet.
But the PCB's and matched JFET's are by far the most costly parts.

LOL Bowei!

But really annoying when that happens. Like it BLINDS me

@Borisu

I want to reorder as much parts as possible, since that way I'm absolutely sure none of the components are broken.

However I'm finding that the 0.5mA current regulator diodes are freaking expensive. Is there a reliable method to make sure these are not broken? Or do they have close to zero chance of breaking in any case?
I'm talking about CR1-8.

Reordering all of them would cost $36.80

There is some guy sitting next to me at the restaurant in new york on his new ipad reading fist of the north star or berserk smily_headphones1.gif haha

Genshiken? I see a mecha on my screen. I thought genshiken was a manga romance about a club? (I have a big manga directory haha)

Well a Constant Current Diodes is basically a JFET with its Gate and Drain pin connected together.

And to my knowledge, FETs are actually not very electronically robust.

You can check if they work using the power supply + ammeter method mentioned before.

but TBH, if you don't mind, those CCDs can be replaced with a BJT-based current source which will cost alot less.

but then that'll mean changing the design making it somewhat not a B22.
