I have 2 styles of switches, one like the power button on the Maverick Audio Products or the button on the Schiit Bifrost. Choose (they both look fine to me. I guess the Schiit Bifrost styled button is less protruding).

Oh, that reminds me, either we go with a plastic or metal front panel. IT WILL HAVE A BRUSHED FINISH IN THE VERTICAL DIRECTION LIKE ON THE FRACTAL DESIGN ARC MIDI (computer case).

Also, I might move the LEDs so they aren't all just next to each other (looks clean though). I could do a button and the corresponding indicators (example: button to change gain and then the 2 LEDs for indicating high or low gain next to the button).

I like option one because then the units are actually uniform and such. That and it makes it so the design has to fit most, if not everybody's liking.

Locking Neutrik looks ugly in terms of minimalism. I want something flush to the front panel like on the Schiit units (the ring around the jack doesn't have to be black though).

Locking neutrik is about $10 more but with such a cheap unit.. I guess you can? he already bought the jacks I believe so it has to be a full $10 full price payment.

He last I checked can't engrave words on boxes though :/ You will need to do the metal engravings yourself if your university has one.

no. Guilty Crown was fully and highly budgeted and took crap from other series. I don['t care that they took it but that they took it and tried to add originality(which is good) but failed..is what makes a series guilty crown. A series won't guilty crown if it just fails, it needs a set of conditions

But yeah, the execution of this series..is meh

Budget is mediocre to mid low. 4/10 with 5/10 being the average. This is going off the imperial scale by the way where nothing or stuff rarely gets to the other side of things. so yeah 4/10 animation.

Voice Acting is also a 4/10 again following the same scale

Execution right now is a 5.5/10 so slightly above normal.

Like I said just dreaming out loud.  Neutriks look cool I think, but I don't actually care that much to pay extra or make things more complicated for borisu. I don't care about wood or engravings either, I just posted the picture of the Amphora to show stuff I think looks cool in terms of layout.

It depends if we are indeed able to get the knobs and switches in custom positions. I'd like gain on the back, then power and switching between I/O on the front. I also think volume knob in the center and headphone jack off to the right looks cool.

Myself, I'd rather have gain on the back because I'd never use that, and all the other stuff on the front. I would switch between using DAC/amp and DAC only constantly because I also have a separate speaker amp.

I don't know the details. I thought there was a way to use DAC only, amp only, and DAC/amp together? I remember you guys talking about it before. That's what I mean by I/O selection.

The DAC and Amp will retain their own inputs and outputs meaning the DAC will have fixed RCA line out on the back and amp O2 will have RCA input on the back so that while they are connected internally, they can be "Split" apart and be used like seperate units with other things :)
