So finished watching Paradox Spiral and my head is in spiral because of the paradoxes!!
Anyway, I could understand the plot in the end
Something that I couldn't understand was how did Shiki got away from Araya's trap? And all this "origin" stuff
No.
No. There's still the relays and crystal and DAC board.
About that, I've actually made a new design for the ABX controller using a micro controller.
cuz I was thinking if I'm gonna gave to send you a PCB, I may as well send you a micro controller as well.
Here's the new design:

I've just realized that the power management section in the Obj2 is actually unnecessary because I am neither using batteries or using a direct output (there's a output muting relay.) So I decided to remove that and save some money.

I just placed my order for 10x both of these having to pay a total of HK$1008.xx or US$130.16
EDIT:
Wait... that can't be right....
15.463 + 5.07 = 20.533
20.533 x 10 = 205.33
205.33 x 0.85 = $174.5305
HOW DID I GET AWAY WITH $130???
and I double checked the list or components.....
guess I got some of the unit cost wrong....

Cost of 10 DIY O2 and custom PCB is less than cost of 1 JDS labs assembled unit is what you should remember
Ok, 10 units of what?
Tell me exactly what? 10 units of just the O2 and PCB or 10 units of...something?
That's the cost of 10x
- ALL Obj2 components (required for Project-H, omitted battery and power management section.)
- ALL Project-H controller components (Except for 5x relay + 1x crystal)
I just found out where the calculations went wrong....
I haven't ordered the PCBs yet LOL

Eh? But the price list already includes the PCB?

*facepalm*
So after getting a CS4398 unit for each this is broken down into
$15-$20 for both the O2 and Project H PCB + $35 DAC unit card IF YOU SELL all 10.
But as we have about 3 I think, that is about $150 still each unit to help recuperate costs?
Yes, but I don't buy the PCBs from the same source as the components.
Components are from RS
PCBs are custom manufactured in china.
the $130 I paid was for all the components ONLY.
Ok so wasn't it $15 for 10 PCB's?
Ok let's see. $160-$180 will be paid to get the O2 and PCB and Project H pcb
If only 1 person buys this unit, it would cost $240 to help recuperate costs after shipping
HOWEVER If 2 people buy it, we can drop it down to $170 total each -$340 after shipping(included)
If 3 people buy it, its about $150 each (150 X 3) = $450 total
So even if 2 people buy it at $170, its still more than enough to cover $160 O2 and PCB and $60 two DAC units and $40 total two shipping and workman costs. and $40 workman costs and $40 left over for a case
And yeah....so if we can get one more person to get it, we can literally buy this unit at $150 or sub and borisu can make some pocket change for his efforts and still have more left to sell himself or help another Head fi aniem thread member
I am pledging to buy one so yeah
so yeah, more of you guys sign up, the cheaper this can go because as you see, the DAC unit is only $35 and O2 for ten units is only $130 and the Project H PCB should be about what, $30 for 10 units at this price?
I'll back this project...depending on the number of person. Though I MAY get it anyway, regerdless, LOL
That's a 3-4 people now :)
$130 X4 =$520
Enough to cover
$180 O2 unit and Project H PCB
$120 DAC unit
$60 workman costs
$60 shipping (for 4 units)
$60 case or $20 case per unit
I think the calculations should come after I do all the sourcing.
Here's the complete list of Project-H components: (incomplete costs)
In red: what I haven't bought
