Apart from screen size, resolution is also important.

For example, I once tried to read manga on my laptop. Did not work, at all. It has the same resolution as my Note, but on the Note I can read in portrait mode instead of landscape.
The resolution was simply too low to properly read the fonts.

Yeah that too. I remember ImperialX said that it's better reading manga on th iPad 3rd more than the Nexus 7, but IIRC he was pretty ambivalent about anime. I think.

Just finished reading the Anandtech article on Haswell.

but then again...$20...worth it? The Sandy Bridges even after a qhile after only dropped $30. or $10-$20 at first

The processors drop price and so do the older mobos too and that can save some major dough. $50-100 depending on what you are going for. Like now with a whole new socket and such, the sandy's will drop again and that will be some nice bargain bin stuff right there. Maybe even the 2500K for $180~, who knows. Point is, I'm not feeling haswell right now.

 

And when you on a budget? Man 50-100 sure does help...

The only problem is that as we can see... it's not gonna do much The 3550 which isn't shown is $209 and man do those $10 for a locked but for the most part faster chip....do something.

 

And that's why, I say get it now.

Like I said, new socket provides a lot of leeway. Especially if you are willing to wait until newegg starts having deals. Those prices will drop, they always do right before Newegg stops selling them on the regular, and then they go back up. There really is no reason not to wait...especially for the motherboards.

But its then a question of worth it to buy and not get your computer at that time. We can say it will drop price, everything will. But that means you are left in the cold for even more time.
