Haha, congrats @tilpo!
I'm saving up for an i5 on black friday. Is there a major performance increase from sandy to ivy? Maybe there will be a killer deal on a 2500k, one can always hope.
Edit: got an E11 today, now I have portable music again!

I probably won't save much either because Black Friday discounts have been crappy these few years in most cases. Still, waiting for just some TDP cuts and improved igpu performance is sort of pointless. The extra few watts only equals a few cents on your power bill. A few dollars, that might be a bit more concerning but honestly, a few cents will take a very, very long time to develop into a boatload of cash.

Broadwell might introduce the 3D transistors again. That will probably be a worthwhile upgrade.

At the very least there should be some deals on external HDD's, which I need another of considering I have 25GB left on my 2 TB media drive...

Instead of joyeux anniversaire the more popular (as in non-formal) way to say it is just bonne fete. Unless it's a French vs. Canadian thing.

Or at least replace that joyeux. Imagine people telling you "joyous anniversary!"... cause that's the literal translation xP

 

Alright, when it's panda's birthday we'll all shower him with Joyous Anniversaries...!
