I love the ending of Papa too. I like My Dearest better than The Everlasting Guilty Crown (opening 2). I liked the Angel Beats! OSTs. I don't like Naruto but they have pretty nice openings for some of them. My favorite is the 9th opening to Shippuden (or however you spell it) which is Lovers by 7 Oops. I can't remember a couple of the openings of the anime I've watched. Oh, wait. I liked Steins;Gate's opening, Hacking to the Gate, and another Naruto opening sung by Ikimono Gakari called Blue Bird.

PS, SEED isn't worth the waste of time, IMO. Better to go back to Universal Century - 08th MS Team, War in the Pocket, 0083 Stardust Memory, Char's Counterattack, etc.


I loved SEED. haters gonna hate. and basically i can't. it was hard to even start watching legend of the galactic hereos. ...i just want fluid graphics and current..stuff. and...the hardest part is i don't know how to watch those. like where to start, do i need to know previous things or not.

i liked the first ending of GC too :) and ANgel Beats..was a pretty average slice of life anime..but as expected of KEY. excellent OST's. Same about naruto and other mainstream anime's..thing is since i don't watch them anymore i odn't know any anymore.

 

i also liked the opening of denpa oona and usagi drop from last or two seasons ago :)

 

...yeah...spoiled..why why!!!!!

My friends on accident, it was a long while ago. 6 years I suppose. I would of probably liked it a lot though, from what I can tell.

Uh, start with the original Mobile Suit Gundam, duh.

 

Ofc., since most of the anime are self-contained, it's not like you necessarily need backstory from other series.

 

I still maintain that 08th MS Team is the best Gundam series that isn't ∀ Gundam, and the best UC Gundam series.

i only have some idea what you are saying. im the current generation gundam fan..not the last generation one so it's hard

I am very spoiler sensitive. I will not watch something if so many critical plot points were spoiled. I just wouldn't be able to enjoy it like I should, and that in turn will only further frustrate me. Hell, I don't even like being spoiled by small things. If there was an anime and I wasn't supposed to find out until the end of the first episode that someone dies that starts the chain of events that was supposed to trigger the main plot, but I found it out in a synopsis? I'd be very upset. I'd still watch it but I wouldn't be happy initially.

 

Also, as far as gundam is concerned. You can really start where you want. I mean, there are definitely places I'd tell you to back off on because in order to get full enjoyment from them, it's best to watch older ones first. Only one off the top of my head that I can think of that's like that is Turn A Gundam. Just because you don't get that sheer contrast and feeling that is supposed to be in there.

 

Besides that, start where you want. Most people's first gundam I find was NOT the original and that's perfectly fine. The original is good though and I recommend it. But I can understand the animation thing to an extent I guess. It still makes me upset that some people don't like older animation like I do but I can't really blame them for something that was instilled in em. My first anime was an early 80s anime and the few that followed were mid to late 80s and early 90s. So of course I have no qualms with older stuff. It's only certain art styles that mess me up....like astro boy...UGH

 

 

edit: I will also say most people do not like Turn A Gundam and it's been shunned for a bit lol. But it seems in recent years it's grown a sizable fan base that strongly likes it. I thought it was ok but I put it on hold by episode 20; it was getting boring and movement was slow. I plan to restart it one day. Although it's definitely one of the more unique gundam series.

If you're a fan of the current generation, why aren't you watching Gundam Unicorn, Gundam AGE, or Mobile Suit Gundam 00? They're more recent than SEED.

check my list. i am. the Gundam Unicorn ova's i've been watching. i dropped AGE, all it took was plot elements from other gundam series that were known to work and just made it into a series that could pull a new younger gundam generation in. and i've seen 00 many times

i include dropped only if i saw more than half, there may be one or two of those super longs one's i counted too though(ex naruto) nope, not on hold.
