@Vortex

Welcome Back!

Good for you with the laptop. The reliability is the problem with those but anyway. Dell's usually can have it's OS installed through a special windows instal disk. Basically it's a DELL REPAIR only disk(I got to use one because of a stint at a computer shop last year) that installs Windows....BUT DOESN'T ask you for the windows key. It pulls it from the hardware.... yeah. Not sure if Alienware follows that. And remember that different colors and types of COA are availble. Even if you download Windows whatever that is the same as the version installed, when typing in the key into windows...it MAY not work. I don't have enough personal experience with that to know how many times or what you need to do to make it work.

Why INTEL SSD? I recommend Plextor, Samsung, or Crucial. OCZ is the next contendor but Plextor and Crucial are gaining steam. Crucial is at the top of the SSD marker for people that can't pay heavy premiums for Intel and Plextor is gaining heavily by being faster than the Curical M4's in the write deparement and being more reliable and at the same price. I almost bought an Crucial M4 until a good enthusiast showed me new benchmakrs for the drives that confirmed that the two Crucial M4 and Plextor M4 were close but Plextor had a slight upper hand.

A week ago Samsng has a 128GB SSD for $120. IT was $20 more than what I payed for mine....BUT IT CAME WITH the new Ghost Recon code to pre download!!!! Just need benchmakrs of that though.

My nickname is Panda-sama. Tilpo's is Rikkun. Because his real life nick name is Rik and add a kun. Hybrid's is Haiburido Chan or Hai-by chan(pronounced Hi-Be chan). Kuroda Tsubasa's is Kuroda tan and b1o's is Borisu kun.

@Hai-by chan

Please remember you are using a display model. They crash due to other consumers doing stupid stuff on it and loading crap ton of programs and closing them incorrrectly (Command+q)

I wanted a new bookshelf speaker that GuttenBerg recommended for $100 that are on sale for $50 right now and wanted to go to a Best Buy or Fry's but my parents had to go do...errands.

@Rikkun

I slept for 10 hours and lol....52 posts

I really liked the take the world and burn it nature of Code Geass and Death Note. I love Supremem rise to power anime's and their rise was absolutely GLORIOUS to watch. Small spoiler:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

They almost captured the world...the entire world...and then crap came falling down

It was stupdenous to watch!

@Kiteki chama

Nah it was a guy and I'm going to play Shogi against him next time.  Need to practice.

Understandable. Seinen is probably my favorite genre by far, though it isn't my most watched.

I'd say that Geass paints extreme patriotism in a negative way though. (Lelouch does eventually attempt to create a free nation with equal rights for all. Britannia, the Chinese Federation, and parts of the Japanese resistance all at some point play the part of the villain.)

I have a hard time imagining whats questionable with the animation though. It's a pretty typical Sunrise production: strong colors, well defined lines, emphasis on characters/objects over extreme background detail. Clamp's character designs are an acquired taste, but overall its an above average animation job (also typical for Sunrise).

SEinen is also my favorite!!

I rewatched it soo many times. You can't realize...just how many anti chinese jokes or quips they subtly make. I'm on my 13th full rewatch of R2 and R1.

It's jsut his nature. His power. His hidden identity! Holy Crap!!

Yeah, very good animations for 2008 ....and a bit lesser in 2006.

What's this about nationalism in anime, which ones?

You play Shogi!!

I have no idea what that is. The only Japanese board game I know is the one they play in Hikaru No go!....and that was because I read the manga.... hmmm whatever happened in the end I wonder?

Headphones:Shure SRH440, Ultrasone HFI-580(DJ1), AKG Q701, Sony MDR XB500, SkullCandy Smokin Buds, Apple iBuds, SoundMagic PL11, Monoprice 8320, JVC Harx700

For a moment I thought your signature said Sony MDR EX800 and got excited. =(

I would recommend using desoldering braid instead of pump.
because there's a chance of damaging the pad. (Which is very bad.)

BTW... What is the value of R30 and R31?

The circuit says 0... Superconductor???
The thing is, so far I have been unable to actually remove solder from a hole with soldering braid. Maybe something is wrong with the soldering braid, or maybe I'm doing it wrong -- but -- IT JUST WON'T FRIGGING WORK!

R30 and R31 are wire jumpers, so they should have negligible resistance.

Yeah I do.  I am pretty decent for a non-Japanese =)

In Hikaru no Go, they played um... Go... lol. There was a guy with red hair which played Shogi, he said it was better than Go, and then Hikaru got mad and said he just escaped to Shogi since he couldn't handle Go, lol...

In reality, Shogi is a lot more fun, and it's less flawed than chess.  Chess has a flaw that, if everyone was extremely good, 50% of games will become draws, that can't really happen in Shogi, draws are less than 5% at the highest level, that's the vital difference.

I was hoping for you to say it was a piece of 99.999999% pure silver. LOL

So how was the measurements?

Some Polish girl was in Shogi news recently, for beating a pretty decent Japanese player.  I looked at her blog, she seems to be pretty intensely occupied with Shogi, lol.  Idk, I think you need 1. Talent and 2. At least 1 hour per day practice to get any good, like anything I suppose.

Hahaha. Of course some kid in Go will say that

Wow 5%?!? Now that is a lot funner to watch!

Sorry no :( I can't afford or will buy any higher priced Sony headphones or IEM's at the moment. The reviews don't suit what I am looking for however it is great to see Sony winning back the audiophile market.

Demo'd UE-RM, UE-11pro, UE-18pro, JH-11pro, JH-13pro, JH-16pro and liked it the most out of all of them.

R9 2V
R10 0V
R11 0V
R12 2V

And there is something else.
When testing the board, for some odd reason I just connected the wires to the power supply without looking at the colors. V+ was in V-, V- was in G and G was in V+. (IIRC).
I only turned it on for a VERY short time (not even one second) in this configuration, but I wouldn't be surprised if parts have blown.

I once messed up V+ and V- in my Mini3 for multiple seconds, and it still worked fine, so I'm just hoping I didn't destroy anything.

I have an ex classmate that is obsessed with chess, and recently decided to become a pro.
He literally spends 8 hours per day on practice, but he also has a personal coach controlling his diet and fitness routine.
