Wow, that's in the more expensive CIEM price range.

FAD seems to emphasise the bass response, which is what the Shure SE846 also focused on. XD

The $1600 pricetag is for the initial sales pitch. Due to the limited numbers, I've seen a few go for above $2000, not including shipping.

Considering that many people (including ones in this thread) prefer it over many or all circumaural headphones (including the Sennheiser Orpheus!), and how limited it is, I'm surprised it doesn't cost more. By the time I get it, I'll probably have to fork out a premium, though.

Once they're all snatched up, do you think owners would part with them for a lower price, though?

Or did you mean they're bound to cost even more when sold used?

Besides, you have to eat everyday anyway, so why not try your hand in cooking every now and then?
I've gotten a 100/100 on every culinary test I've ever taken, so... am I Tom Cruise?

I meant them being sold brand new at a higher price than the quoted retail.

And they are definitely going to become pricier as total units get lower(accidents happen, or just wear and tear) and the demand gets higher due to them being basically collectors items.

I wouldn't be surprised some people paying way for for a second pair, even used, for collection purposes.

That level 19 one looks kinda.... Freaky.

It's funny how I can justify buying $500 phones but can never find it to spend more than $200 on anything else...

Well, as you can read from the '大破' tag, she was heavily damaged, luckily didn't die :D

Headphones themselves are relatively cheaper components in my home setup orz..

They die? Temporarily do you don't get exp, or permanently? Didn't notice the words, just that her face sorta spooked me.

Considering how many flagships you have on your profile, I'm not surprised. 😝

Phones are probably the most expensive hobby I have out of travelling. I don't spend much otherwise.

Yeah, I know. But I didn't have any. So I'll just have to do with this, which is perfectly fine. It only looks ugly, you don't feel any of the repairs when wearing the headphone.

Prepare everything first, then start cooking, and while it's cooking start cleaning as you go along.

I should sharpen my knives :/

Edit: Just did. Not very experienced with the whole sharpening process, so I bet they could be a bit sharper, but at least they're not exactly dull anymore. Reminds me when I recently helped a friend cook. One of his knives was so dull, I had a very hard time cutting through an onion. It was horrible.

Depends on the dish. I usually keep cutting away at veggies and whenever they're done, I throw them in the pan. Saves time. But not if I make a stir fry dish for example, then the timing is more difficult.

Yes, they die, permanently disappear.

IIRC I lost 2 so far T_T (one of them was a rare, which was painful orz)

Hmm I don't really travel, the only foreign country (erm, singapore doesn't count) I have been to is Japan =_=

Wow, that's pretty hardcore. Reminds me of Deathmatch mode in Dota. Lol.
I'm guessing the perma-death doesn't apply to PvP?

Travelling is fun, a backpack, you favourite music and IEMs/Portables, and just wander around. Haven't had a trip in forever but I'm planning one close to New Years. Funny you would mention Japan because that's where I'm heading. biggrin.gif

Yup doesn't apply to PvP.

Hmm fun.. I think depends on the place, but so far it seems that my personal interest is quite different from many others. But yeah, backpack is the way to go, flexibility ftw. Both my japan trips were backpack, haven't tried travel alone though.

Reminds me of that I really have to experience winter comiket at least once, hmm.

I used to travel with a few friends but found I enjoy going solo and not having to ask for an opinion on where to go or what to eat very relaxing. Of course, having company is always fun if it's a very sightseeing orientated trip, makes it easier to keep objectives and points of interest on schedule.
