If not, do yourself a favor and look at my MAL list.
I think you are the first person ever to call Nichijou a children's show.

I'm well aware of that.

You criticized Higurashi for the plot being too complex, and in response, I generalized based on your descriptions. That's all.

I was listening to the Eagles of Death Metal and I really like the drummer. Like seriously, that guy drums incredibly well.
So I looked up on Wikipedia who it was, and it was none other than Josh freaking Homme. Frontman of Queens of the Stone Age and involved with some other notable projects. Damn. That guy can make some music. Don't even matter if it's base, guitar, piano, vocals or drums.

Hm, I was going to post something, but I forgot. XD
OH yes, I don't like sideways mouths. -_-

Kissxsis - I'd give it 6/10 on the AnimeNewsNetwork rating (decent)
The first few episodes are fine, but then it gets kind of old as you progress through the series. Two sisters fighting for their younger brother's attention. I gave it a 6/10 because there are some funny moments with all the quirky characters, some sexy time moments, and the "downfall" of a protagonist, if you can call it that. I would have given it a 7 if there weren't so many annoying moments where the sisters said Keita (above screenshot) and the continuous rivalry between them got pretty stale at times too.

Egg noodles, fyi, don't actually have eggs. Well, sometimes they do, but what really turns it that shocking yellow and gives it that characteristic chewy texture and that jian taste is a magic ingredient, kan sui. Most recipes call for this highly alkaline lye water but if you want to do it without hunting down obscure ingredients in the Asian stores, you can mimic the results by using baked baking soda. Yep, by baking this common household ingredient, you turn it from sodium bicarbonate into sodium carbonate which is a stronger alkaline (though not as strong as lye).

@Tom Yum Goong
I actually like this more than I thought I would! The marzipan has a nice firm and somewhat gritty texture, which compliments the smooth milk chocolate. The sweet, buttery, almondy marzipan mixes really well with the chocolate coating and it leaves a buttery kind of aftertaste in your mouth. 9/10, would get again. : D

Well, you mistakenly called it a lot of nothing after I said it had a perplexing plot...I can't know what you're thinking unless you tell me.

Seems like I've never eaten proper stuff in that case.
I do use egg noodles regularly, but it's the dried stuff. It tastes like crap, but has a decent texture. You can make it take up the taste of the rest of the dish real easy though, so I've actually made some pretty darn tasty dishes with the stuff.
For the sake of experiment I should try to make a Chinese dish with spaghetti instead of dried noodles. The thing is that the quality of dried spaghetti is much higher here than the dried noodles. And I reckon it could work out quite well.

I in particular like cooking with udon since it's the only type of noodle/pasta that you can get here in a vacuum sealed packet, instead of dried. It tastes so much better like that.

Making noodles myself would also be an option. But I don't have proper tools, so only thick noodles would be possible. But more importantly, it's a lot of work. A little too much for me to bother with.

Wait, is that the anime where that pic is from???
I was either too distracted to see Anushole, or it wasn't in the episodes I saw (1-12).

Oh never mind, that's from the original video animation.

He starred in so many great movies (Mrs. Doubtfire is my favorite), including lesser-known ones. No one like him will ever grace this world again...

Why is it always when people are upset about some famous guy dying that I have no idea who it is?

I really live under a rock, do I?
