The final episode of Soul Eater has the most bloodcurdling, heart wrenching scream I've heard, in the English dub.

The most intense crying I've heard is in the end of episode 22 of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, but only in the Japanese dub.

Is there an abbreviation for English dub and Japanese dub? I know some call them dubs and subs, but that isn't always clear.

Oh there is someone in this super popular MMO who also survived this incident! Big deal....
The fact that this person is ex-Laughin Coffin is interesting though.

Also in this episode: Longest death scream ever.

What the **** is wrong with you?!

Usually, a lack of caffeine. That is no longer the case :D

lol. "Walks out with" brings to mind an image of someone trying to somehow carry all those at once.

...and now that I'm talking to you, I'm listening to the Peace Walker soundtrack again!

Mountain Dew is so addictive that I actually had trouble going cold turkey at the beginning of junior high (my elementary school had vending machines and the door was almost always unlocked, so I took advantage of something the maintenance guy overlooked :p).

Bags bro. 2 people and 5 triple bagged bags

Koi no Yokushiryoku for the win.

Agreed. 1 out of, I think it was 10,000 people total who were in SAO?

Everything is too drawn out.

Meanwhile, Aldnoah.Zero 05 has some really interesting plot development going on.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Inaho proceeds with the usual taking out of a Martian knight.

Slaine is getting the tables turned on him so he's in a really, really awkward situation. He'd better jump down to Earth soon before he's killed by Martians.

I tried using Mountain Dew to wean myself off of energy drinks - didn't work out too well.

Wait, you stole from the vending machines?

I know, it was just a funny mental image.

Screaming seems to be the main method of communication in a lot of animes.....

Just write dubbed version. 90% of the people here watch animes with english subs.

Another USA cliche confirmed. Thanks.

There isn't much screaming in those two, at least.

Okay, so from now on, I can just say dub and sub and nearly everyone will know what I mean.

You mean that we're all drugged-up on caffeine? It's kinda true, unfortunately...I need it to feel balanced.

(He's in Canada, though it's right above us.)

It's funny to say now, but yeah. In elementary school I just though of it as a cheaper way to do the Dew.

There is no way I would be able to carry more than 3 anyway. One person with 18 six packs doesn't compute... How would one even carry that? XD

Nope, doesn't count since it's a samesung. :P

Didn't the G3 technically come out first?

Was also thinking about getting a 55mm lens like : http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-17-55mm-2-8G-ED-IF-Nikkor/dp/B000144I2Q/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1406965667&sr=8-2&keywords=nikkor+2.8

Nek3 also recommended http://www.amazon.com/Tamron-17-50mm-Vibration-Compensation-Digital/dp/B002LVUIXU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1406965744&sr=8-2&keywords=tamron+17-50

as an alternate in case it was a bit too pricy.

I was also considering getting this used lens for the Nikon plan (Buy the body in China, lens in the US): http://www.adorama.com/US%20%20%20%20654040.html

Any thoughts?

Why not just get the 7100 with the kit lens 18-55mm, then get some more lenses like the 35mm f/1.8 and maybe a macro lens as well? That should just about be $2k and you'll have plenty of lenses to cover everything you'll probably need.

IMO the price/performance ratio is tons better, and you can just fix any parts that are slow or break down instead of replacing the whole thing.

I still can't believe she's 21 now... I remember her when she was like 15 on Drake & Josh, if not younger. :0

Wow, even just going by your middle name is pretty rare in America nowadays.

Okay, just hit me with some samples :P

Yeah, I know. Remember Manhunt 2?

Wheee, just spent like $55 on 4 records, including some cool and rare stuff! I finally found Roundabout by Yes on one of their albums, and I got a Japanese pressing of Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits. Japanese pressings are so crazy rare and expensive in the states, I was extremely gracious it was only $25...

Did you see the update post? I will be revealing the answer later today, so choose wisely. =P

Drake & Josh was a hilarious show. Like that DMV episode where one says to the other, "Stop saluting everyone!" Miranda playing the mischievous little sister was priceless. She's actually been an actor since age three!

I just realized something: you were surprised she made music, but already knew about her iCarly songs. XD

haha. If you promise not to tell, I'll PM you my name. =D

Alright, I will share high quality samples ASAP and tag you in the post.

I remember reading about Manhunt games, but never played them myself.

Speaking of violence, etc., have you seen Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni? It isn't half as gory as Elfen Lied, but manages to be ten times more deep and emotionally intense, at least to me.

Yay for rare music! If you ever want to buy limited editions of soundtracks for video games and anime, I know a guy.

Hey, I listened to that disco album! Hadn't heard it in many years. It's more like Britpop than actual disco, though.

Yeah I saw that. I'm curious to see which one is the bad girl!!!

Oh yeah, I remember that episode!!! Whaat, what was she doing when she was three? :O

I didn't remember that song until I heard it on the youtube clip you posted.

Lol okay, I promise. XD

Thanks! Tagging is a wonderful thing that's totally useless if you delete the emails by accident since there are no mentions of tagged posts on head-fi itself -_-

Neither did I, but I remember there was huge controversy surrounding the "excessive" use of blood and gore so they had to go back to the drawing board and censor the hell out of it.

Yeah, I've seen Higurashi, that was a really intense show! Some of the scenes could have been a lot gorier though, but they chose to omit the gore in order to let the viewer's imagination fill in the blanks and create their own worst nightmare. Elfen Lied... Didn't do that at all. Just gore everywhere.

Haha, I always need more soundtracks for anime! I still need a bunch of the Key Sounds Label CDs too!

What disco album is it though? You should try listening to the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack if you want some really legit disco. =D

Yeah, I know right? Hahaha

Wait, you just now dropped it twice? Knock on wood I haven't dropped mine once yet.
I thought the 64GB one was $400? $350 for the 64GB would be an absolute steal.
$349 for 64GB model smily_headphones1.gif if you have an invite.

$299 for 16 GB.

No tax for most States. And shipping was only $12 so nominal. Congress with a sexy 2A charger and cable as well.

Dayum, that's impressive! :0

D7100 seems like a pretty good idea, though doesn't seem really good to buy from China

17-55 is a pretty good pairing, but there are nice primes from Nikon and also third party manufacturers

I like the Tamron 17-50 quite a lot...

Right now contemplating whether to buy new lenses for my Pentax K-5...

Wow, I'm digging that bluetooth portable speaker I got...

Allegedly, it's supposed to get 10 hours of playback. But, with about 2 hours of bluetooh playback, 18 hours of wired playback, and about 8 hours of standby, it finally died! O.o

More like "there are softdrinks coming out of the water tabs in the US".
Earths sugar-water capital.

Is it also true that bicycles are super not popular in the Land of the Free?

Yup! Finally some emotions and interesting plot.

I'm 100% sure that Inaho is a robot.

Nowhere near as popular as some Asian countries, but you still see them everywhere.
