I didn't think they would bring laughing coffin back.

Is it me... or is the pace a little too slow...

Finally done with the drawing, has been like 2 years since I last done a portrait, and taking into account the hiatus, the result is pretty amazing

Anyway to Bowei, if you are still doing Gunpla, I am trying out shading without airbrush now

So far so good, pretty good with topcoat IMO

While waiting for my headphones to come, I bought a banana stand

With my PortaPro being on loan to my friend, my IEM shall be hung on the banana stand for display

D7100 seems like a pretty good idea, though doesn't seem really good to buy from China

17-55 is a pretty good pairing, but there are nice primes from Nikon and also third party manufacturers

I like the Tamron 17-50 quite a lot...

Right now contemplating whether to buy new lenses for my Pentax K-5...

Wow, I'm digging that bluetooth portable speaker I got...

Allegedly, it's supposed to get 10 hours of playback. But, with about 2 hours of bluetooh playback, 18 hours of wired playback, and about 8 hours of standby, it finally died! O.o

It's not just a "little too slow," it's "THAT SLOW."

More like "there are softdrinks coming out of the water tabs in the US".
Earths sugar-water capital.

Is it also true that bicycles are super not popular in the Land of the Free?

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Inaho proceeds with the usual taking out of a Martian knight.

Slaine is getting the tables turned on him so he's in a really, really awkward situation. He'd better jump down to Earth soon before he's killed by Martians.

Yup! Finally some emotions and interesting plot.

I'm 100% sure that Inaho is a robot.

Nowhere near as popular as some Asian countries, but you still see them everywhere.

Just start drinking coffee! Still not healthy but a huge improvement.

Ah, you are correct. When I read 55mm lens I didn't check the actual link itself. A 17-55 should be nice and flexible. I'd still encourage considering a fixed 33mm lens since they can go down to 1.8 for a reasonable price and 1.4 if you're willing to spend a crap ton of money. Having only recently started working with fixed focal lenses I have to say the amount of light they allow in is absolutely wonderful.

Oh yeah, I remember that episode!!! Whaat, what was she doing when she was three? :O

I didn't remember that song until I heard it on the youtube clip you posted.

Lol okay, I promise. XD

Thanks! Tagging is a wonderful thing that's totally useless if you delete the emails by accident since there are no mentions of tagged posts on head-fi itself -_-

Neither did I, but I remember there was huge controversy surrounding the "excessive" use of blood and gore so they had to go back to the drawing board and censor the hell out of it.

Yeah, I've seen Higurashi, that was a really intense show! Some of the scenes could have been a lot gorier though, but they chose to omit the gore in order to let the viewer's imagination fill in the blanks and create their own worst nightmare. Elfen Lied... Didn't do that at all. Just gore everywhere.

Haha, I always need more soundtracks for anime! I still need a bunch of the Key Sounds Label CDs too!

What disco album is it though? You should try listening to the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack if you want some really legit disco. =D

Stay tuned for the shocking revelation...

You can read about her career here.

Oh man, did you know the South Park movie was originally rated NC-17 (the newer version of X-rated), and they kept on resubmitting it without any alterations until they eventually gave in and released it uncut (get it? "Bigger, Longer & Uncut") with an R rating? XD

Are you sure you saw the uncensored version? Higurashi was actually more intense by having certain moments offscreen. "Nightmare" is a fitting description. If they had shown all the detail, I don't think it would have been as effective.

Did you see the English dub of the first season as well? I thought it did some scenes better, with more emotion.

Blood-C is more extreme than Elfen Lied IMO, but in a shockingly brutal way without the gallons of blood every five seconds. (Elfen Lied didn't shock me at all.) In the censored version, nearly the entire screen was blackened/whitened out during a few scenes. You will flip out when you read my long review.

Send me an inventory of what you are looking for and I'll add it to my "I'll see what I can do" list.

This disco album - back from my religious teenage days.

I've heard some of that soundtrack. You need to hear this!

Yeah, I have a fixed 28mm (or was it 17mm? or one of each? XD), which is fun to use.

Depends on the area. I'm applying for a job in a city where bicycles are incredibly common. Granted, it's a hipster city, so maybe that's why they're popular. :p I do know I'll be taking my bike if I move there.

Wah, Sailor Moon Crystal episode 4 was really good today! I paid more attention to the animation and artistic style this time around and I've got to say that although the animation quality isn't that good, the artistic style more than makes up for it in my opinion. The art style reminds me of water colour paintings in some respects, which is Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon awesome.
