Hah, well. There's a couch? I live off of Mall Rd, which is basically the epicenter of Florence. Hotels abound.

I read through pretty much all of the stuff, but if I tried responding to a mountain of 100 posts I might die. Keep working on your meme posting though, it's cringey but generally quite amusing. :)

AAAAAND YES NO SPOILERS PLEASE. I have only experienced the beginning of the game.

I love fruity-flavored beer!

Just don't have this party with Axel but without me! I'm assuming your roommate would be involved in some capacity unless it is hosted elsewhere.

Okay, well, from now on, if I post something that I want you to reply to, I will tag you.

Spoiler: the bad guys are defeated! :p

I really don't like overpowered characters.....

Oh I also forgot that you are saving this thread from falling into oblivion.

Hallowed be thy name!

I think he meant enough power and having enough control over that power to allow the headphone maximum utilization of that power.

Not that I know anything about this electrical engineering mumbo jumbo to make any comment on the veracity of that statement.

Just stop dickin around with all this moeblob crap and give us more Haruhi already. And on the subject of linearity, is flat really justice? I mean really.
I must've missed those comments. Would like to get the story from the horse's mouth so to speak. And I'm not too big on the CKR. Gonna sell em. There's a critical flaw to me in the upper midrange. Very shouty at 4 kHz. I listen to a lot of Mars Volta and since Ced is a tenor and Omar likes to play his wacky super distorted leads all up on the neck, the CKR can be really piercing to my ears. And yes, I've given it the requisite 150 hrs. rolleyes.gif
No kiddin... Like that sweet JDS amp earlier right? You think I can get this engraved on there?

I wouldn't doubt it as I've had similar experiences with the Maxell CN40 coupled with Dirac DSP. The only thing is, these budget phones tend to be built like **** and fit horribly. I'd actually pay the premium for a very solidly made product that has superior fit, hence my excitement for the Rockets

Stupid Maxell CN40! I barely stepped on it with the ball of my shoe and the housing was in pieces =(
That thing had certain aspects that were prodigious. Others not so much. Bass is still among the best I had ever heard in an IEM.

Hey, IX is my second favorite one too - except VII is my #1. I've done things in that game the developers probably didn't intend to be possible. I also have a memory card with codes/saves on it that let you play as Aeris after she dies and much more.

I like how XII is a prototype for XIII in some ways - like the area names and overall game design. I need to listen to XII's soundtrack more, because it's still one of the FF OSTs I listen to least often, despite spending $100 on the LE box set.

No shame! As long as you're enjoying it and yourself. I had leftover pork chop with a sweet potato. Not to say my meal was better, but ... ;)

You'll have to supply your own fruit beer haha. I tend to buy packs of 30 rolling rocks, just because it's drinkable and so cheap. $16.50 for the whole thing! Might step it up a bit when this actually happens, though.

I wouldn't dare. I don't own the game, anyhow! I'd imagine my roommate would, although I can't say for sure. His work schedule varies by week and he doesn't know you guys exist (yet). That aside, he enjoys Final Fantasy and beer. And half of the couch is his. SOOO... I'd imagine he would want to join.

That's a given. I may bring down some sweet audio gear if I have it by the time we do this.

You told me you purchased the digital download from the PlayStation Store. This means you can download and play it on PS3, PS4, PSP, and PS Vita.

It's probably because his name was mentioned and there is technology to notify a person when such a thing happens.

Haikyuu ep17: awww that "shounen" awesomeness..

I finished Haruhi earlier this morning. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started, and I'm not honestly sure how to process it after completing it. I watched in chronological order.

Spoiler: All of Haruhi (Click to show)
So... this show. Season one (? I don't know how to separate the two. Perhaps I shouldn't) ... rather, the first 11 episodes of the show in chronological order, were astoundingly good. I was attached to the story, to Haruhi, and to the misadventures of the SOS Brigade, which was all obviously due to Kyon's distaste for the situation. The narration he provides is the one thing that remained perfect throughout the highs and lows of this series for me.

Now, as for the rest of the show. The Endless Eight in sequence was honestly a challenge. I can appreciate the thought behind this arc in the show, but I feel that it could have and should have been condensed. The repetitiveness while getting through it was difficult, but I somehow felt the urge to continue. Once they cleared that boss, I was relieved. The story could continue.

In chronological order, the subsequent episodes were almost all of the movie-making and cultural festival. The movie creation was just okay to me. I didn't hate it, I didn't love it. It was good enough to allow me to carry on with the show, but I did have to take breaks to watch or do other things. Marathoning this one wasn't possible.

The biggest reason for me to continue through the end was my hope for something more. I should note that I didn't exactly get what I wanted. The show ends with a bit of compassion from Haruhi to Kyon, and then a walk home in the rain. GIVE ME SOMETHING. I felt the need to know how this relationship plays out, if at all. The lack of any clear information implies that they stay the course, and continue with their ridiculous adventures throughout the school years.

I don't know, just give me an OVA or a movie. I know a lot of shows end with an intentional opening in the story, requiring the viewers' own interpretation as to how they continue, but in this case it irritated me a bit. When I finish a show (especially a SoL), I sort of expect something to hit me. Anything.

I completed the show and I felt slightly uninspired. I didn't hate it. I didn't love it.

Angel Beats comparison (Click to show)
Angel Beats! fits my line of thinking in this case. The ending they went with is less important to me in this comparison, but what matters is that it did end. That last 5 second clip after the credits was what made the entire show for me. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I just got chills typing this, thinking about that moment.

It left an impact, and that's what I wanted from Haruhi.

Ah, I almost forgot! I mentioned having to take breaks. I chose to start Durarara!! during those.

Spoiler: First few episodes of Durarara!! (Click to show)
Holy crap. "Awesome."

JH13 was better in every way. And yes, UERM is a nice one too.

I went to audition JH products in the LA area and tho it wasn't thorough, I remember liking the JH13 more then the Rox.

Thanks to a recent trip to Dayton I've learned that I have an appreciation for Founders Rubaeus. It's one of the few beers I've actually enjoyed. Very strong raspberry flavor. Quite tasty indeed. I believe I can pick up some at Jungle Jims or maybe Party Source

Agreed. Best FF character throughout the franchise. Though the game that I played to death was FFX. I'm one of the people who completely maxed out the sphere grid for every character. Yes, I had no life at the time. Rikku was my waifu.

For the curious. Beer Advocate advocates this. They are basically the gospel of beers! I'd normally say no immediately to a fruity beer (they're never really suitable for me), but I could try it.

I love Jungle Jim's so much. There were talks of them opening one in FLORENCE a few years ago, but I've not heard anything of the matter since. I would be elated if I could have one nearby. I actually try to go up there a couple times a year, just to re-experience it. It's almost an amusement park.
