I loved that stage, but I remember thinking "I could never do this in real life...".

Fun fact: I had never broken a single bone in my whole body until last year, I broke my hand while I was rocking out to Kansas and It hurt like hell. I also broke my chair. I'm still pretty salty too XD

Wish I hadn't sold my PS1 games... No matter. I'll just get mint copies later! (At least for the ones not available on the PlayStation Store.)

Sprains are worse. I sprained my wrist (at one of those playplace places) in 5th or 6th grade and my feet (from jumping off bleachers in a vain attempt to impress girls who were playing badminton with me) in 9th or 10th grade. Couldn't function for weeks both times.

I just noticed that you joined the same month as me and are about to beat me to 500 status. (But I've only been posting a lot for the past week or two.)

I had a pretty badly sprained ankle when I was 12 or so from falling down stairs and it was more or less how you described it. Blegh, injuries suck.

Oh yeah, we did join at around the same time! If it makes you feel better, I recently took a hiatus and I only got my post count to this point by going on 30-hour posting frenzies and then taking a month off. Happy early 500th post!

Nope, never heard of it.

Yeah, from that perspective, it's an easy mistake - but as you can see, there are CDs in there.

Here's the official site, showcasing the gorgeous artwork.

Watch the video I posted on the last page. Most snowboard games aren't half as cool as Cool Boarders 2!

I've never been injured from falling down stairs, despite doing so many times as a child. I could also jump down entire flights no problem.

Man, I wish they released the complete Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker soundtrack. It's my favorite one in the series. I used to have the limited edition box set of the PSP game too.

...Even I have a limit. I'm not even going to look at that video.

You need to look at Crystal Cable. Their methodology is the closest to what you described. (Except they really do have glowing reviews.)

"The new Crystal Cable Absolute Dream is the first coaxial cable to not only use monocrystal silver for its core but also apply monocrystal technology for the double layered braid: one silver plated monocrystal copper layer and a newly developed braid composed of both monocrystal silver and gold plated braid wires. High grade customized Crystal Cable/Furutech carbon connectors terminate the cables and newly developed identification barrels in full metal are laser engraved with a serial number. The mix of gold and silver wires in the braid's carrier gives the cable a distinct appearance. The golden shine sets it apart from all other Crystal Cable products whilst maintaining the unique brand identity. By optimally preserving the audio signal, the new monocrystal cable offers even more detail, a fantastically deep and wide stereo image, natural focussing, perfect timing and the blackest of black background. The people at R&D started calling it an absolute dream and who are we to question that. The Crystal Cable Absolute Dream is positioned above the well appraised Dreamline series and is available as interlink, loudspeaker cable, power cord, USB and FireWire."

"Crystal Cable’s new top-range Absolute Dream (interconnects, speaker cable, power cords, with USB/Firewire models coming later in the year) combines four coaxial runs which are twisted at 45°. Two coaxes run pure signal, the other two operate in Crystal Cable’s patented Bridge setup. Pure mono-crystal conductors show up in both the cores and the braided shielding. The pure silver cores are covered by Dupont’s Kapton and Peel dielectrics before two shielding layers (one silver-plated copper, one gold-plated silver) are applied. The final quad braid is covered by a transparent outer sleeve for a unique appearance and terminated with carbon Furutech connectors. Special identification barrels hold laser-engraved serial numbers."

The Absolute Dream line ranges from $9,000 to $39,000+. I have also heard from many sources that Nordost Odin cables (same price range) can completely transform the sound of your system, especially if it's higher-end. There are some good images in my wish list thread, as I am rather curious to hear them.

All the Final Fantasy music is available on the Internet in lossless for free; but if you want to go the legal route and purchase it all, it would probably cost over $20K!

Many would disagree, but my personal favorite is the Final Fantasy XIII-2 Original Soundtrack.

Hmm.... Any recommendations? I have VII, VIII, X, X-2, XII, Realm Reborn and most of the Symphonic series orchestral albums, Advent Children plus a few of the Distant World CDs.
