Maybe she would get through with her "God did it" argument in Texas or Kansas :P

It's rather upsetting that Texas deals out the death penalty so casually. Life should be cherished and superstitions should be demolished. Science shall prevail!

Duuuuude! That's like twice the amount of what even the most hardcore audiophools here spent!

lol, did you read my brief music history in the wish list thread? The things I've mentioned here aren't even a big deal to me. If I really thought about it, I could probably tell stories about my past you wouldn't believe.

Here's a snippet: I hold in my possession some of the deepest levels of knowledge available to the Illuminati. (The real Illuminati, not the one in silly conspiracy theories.)

First and foremost, I am a music freak. If you don't want to support the artists you enjoy, that's your call.

Let's see your doujin collection!

Well then, I shall create it! Sailor Moon - Adult Edition. [working title] Take note, my dear Tom. ^_^

Do you mean Dōjin music? That link says it "consists very often of video game music fan arrangements"...and those are typically given away for free as digital downloads.

That's why I will probably refrain from recording any of the thousands of (incomplete) songs I've composed until at least a few years from now. I want them to sound exactly as I envision, not some cheap attempt.

I've spent $20-30K on my music collection and have imported a good amount of music from Japan, including rare stuff. Average cost is like $30-100 per album. Amazon can't help either, as they are plagued with bootlegs. I made the mistake of ordering some Final Fantasy soundtracks from an Amazon seller. He didn't even realize they were fakes, so he gave me a refund and let me keep them.

thumbs up biggrin.gif

I have a feeling that you are just trolling all of us super hard. Mainly me because I seem to care most about your wonderous tales.

90% of my music is legitimately bought. The rest is stuff that is just waaaay too expensive to to import etc.
I really want to see a pic of your collection :D
Has to look something like this except spanning across your whole house:

Sadly, my music splurging days were before I joined Head-Fi. I mentioned that combo when describing my two main dream systems a page or two back. Some say the SR-007 is a better match for that amp.

I love the fan-remastered version of the Final Fantasy VII Original Soundtrack.

You've spent boatloads of money on music, which includes good amount from Japan, and you don't know about the doujin music scene?

This is especially troubling since you seem to be really into Japanese anime/music....

So head on down to nicovideo and start stalking people. :p

The way you word it makes it seem like you're buying a headphone to match the amp, it should be the other way around. :p

Besides, we all know the DIY T2 is the king of electrostatic amps.

Really need to get off my ass and finish mine...

Trolling was never my intention. Sorry if my awesomeness comes off that way.

My CDs are in boxes, bins, and in storage in a house in the mountains. It wouldn't look so nice as yours. The quantity isn't as immense as you may imagine; I used to enjoy collecting rare music, after all.

I didn't exactly lose everything. Technically, I haven't done a single minute of work for nearly the past two years. (Don't ask.)

It would be more helpful if you explained what was meant by the term. I'm not as deeply engrossed into Asian culture as some of you. I mainly just have soundtracks for video games, anime, movies, etc.

The SR-009 + BHSE combo was mentioned, so I mentioned that I heard the SR-007 sounds better with that amp. That's all.

Can you direct me to reviews comparing the T2 and BHSE, in favor of the former?
