So apparently the original Xbox has a capacitor instead of a battery to take care of the internal clock... and it doesn't take time/conditions well, which may cause in it leaking and corrosion/ruining the motherboard. Pre-1.6 (older than from 2004) models can work without it, just needing to set time and date after each boot. Newer models need it to work, so it has to be replaced, not just removed.

gg Microsoft.

As long as its a regular size solder. I don't mind. If it's a SMD or uber small and uber crouded cap in aa weird location

Then...........

I'd probably just snap it off. It's not worth the effort to disassemble the entire thing and unscrew the motherboard just to take out a single capacitor. And yeah it's a regular through-hole capacitor.

Wheeeeee Korra time! : D

How about Funimation? I use both apps. Funimation crashes quite often...

If you have an earlier model, sure. The newer ones don't work without it, so you'd need to replace it instead.

How does one know whether their unit is newer or not?

Only 127 in 18 hours? Hmm, close to former glory of around 227 per 24 hours.

I listen primarily to post dubstep. Subliminal and deep. That's not to suggest that I want overpowering bass, but it's definitely an important factor.

Now we're getting somewhere. Based on what I have heard on this forum, I highly recommend the JVC HA-SZ2000 (~$250-300) for when you upgrade your headphones. (I don't have any low-end IEM recommendations because, as mentioned, it's not my specialty.) It supposedly has some of the best sub-bass.

In this post, a member had this to say: "I have a defective pair, and i can still hear 17Hz with them. Like ambient noises can be heard in the troughs of the wavelength of bass. I can barely turn them up, and the bass is heartachingly thunderous."

The headphone I want the most, the Abyss Headphones AB-1266, is (very often) said to have the highest-quality bass available, and some consider them to be the best-sounding headphones they've heard - but they cost $5,495 - and you need to spend just as much, or even more, on the other equipment to get the best out of them.

What is the "deep" genre? lol. What does post-dubstep sound like?

On my profile, I list some of the electronic genres I like (trance, techno, drum and bass, trip hop, electronica, industrial, dark electro, ambient, dance)...but for someone with such similar tastes as me, I thought you would have more diverse tastes in music as well.

I like this show! Believe it or not!
It's basically anime X-Men. The scenario etc isn't really anything special, but it's really well executed! Interesting design choices etc.
Some pacing issues, some rather stupid moments but overall a lot of fun.
If SAO II is my hatewatch for this season, Tokyo ESP is going to be my guilty pleasure xD

There is an actual X-Men anime now, with 12 episodes. I enjoyed it much more than the old X-Men cartoons.

I watched nearly everything Dragon Ball (Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Kai, movies, etc.) and it was around that many episodes. I probably wouldn't do it again, and I would need some major convincing to watch One Piece.

By the way, have you read the Soul Eater manga? It's far more bizarre than the anime.

Maybe FMAB will be a bit more exciting based on the scenes I've seen.

FMAB is more than a bit more exciting, trust me. Only the first dozen or so episodes follow some of the same storyline as FMA.

Notice the more serious tone on the Blu-ray box set covers. "Everything you love about the original series and a hundred times more!" is an accurate analysis.

It's worth noting, in any case, that some of the best episodes of the first series are near the end. I could recommend a few specific ones, if you want to skip ahead.

Lol!

Glad you are here. Some people have 'left' but most still are here in a different sense. We have a Facebook and Skype group. And our older legacy members are generally there often.

We used to do 250 posts + a day EASY. We clear about 70-120 a day right now (the last few months) . The last few days have been hitting 220+ though which is awesome.

Despite that. We are still #1 on HF of course
