For comparison's sake:

But then why a Maybach Exelero? A car that never made to the production stage and looks quite ugly.

It's probably to do with the lighting of the 3D model. Here's a better view:

For example, the Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed Collection or the Aston Martin Vanquish. Tons more class than a Maybach.

Maybe personal preference/taste? Also the fact that it's the supposedly most expensive supercar in existence, which emphasises the cost of Claude's present?

I agree with you there. Heck, I even prefer the Bentley Mulsanne to the Maybach, but everyone has their own personal tastes I guess. Obviously some people like Maybachs because they lasted until last year, but not enough to keep the brand around. Maybe that's why Komi sensei chose to use the Maybach, as an homage to the brand's memory.

I like the Mercedes Benz C63 Black Series Coupé even though it's not as super as Bentleys or Rolls Royces.

Akagame ga Kill! Episode 1

First episode gave me an OKish impression. The delivery was neither good or bad but felt a bit generic until the twist which piqued my interest a bit.

I'm not sure about this one, if episode 2 is much better than the first I will keep watching it. If it isn't I think I'll put it aside.

There's a new season of Space Dandy?
And somebody told me there'd be nothing interesting this season for me.

The manga is quite good, so hopefully the anime follows suit.

But it's just slap-dash that non of the bloody violence feels real.

I was quite happy with Akame Ga Kill. I think the fact that it isn't censored already has me jumping for joy. Censorship would have murdered it. It's a 24 episode right? Current pacing means they're probably doing 1-2 chapters per episode.

DRAMAtical Murder Episode 1 (or DMMd)

My most anticipated anime this season because I love the VN and am curious to see how they'll execute the anime adaptation.

As I have already played and absorbed the full story in the VN, this first episode for me comes with no surprises but I was extremely pleased that it followed the VN rather well with some little changes here and there. For a first episode, DMMd is a hundred times better than Nitro+Chiral last effort which was the atrocious, badly adapted Togainu no Chi.

Seeing DMMd dynamically and moving brought a smile to my face it just feels more alive than looking at a static image. Though it does suffer some framerate issues during panning sequences.

The character design retains the absolutely impeccable and beautiful style of honyarara but it's really not as beautiful and as clean as the VN.

The Rhyme sequence was also a very well animated.

Now I'm just wondering what route will they choose.

For those who haven't played the VN, the first episode might be confusing because it doesn't explain very much.

Also to note. There's no hint of Yaoi in this first episode. There's a bit of shonen-ai and good looking men but if you're allergic to that well I can't help you.

Chibi Aoba is sooo cute!

I will continue to watch it just to see how much they'll make it more awesome or how much they'll destroy it.

I just hope it's not the latter.

Akame Ga Kill 1: Lolwut?

Pretty good, I guess. MC wasn't all that likable for me at first. Still not sure what to think of him. Story is a bit dark otherwise (IMO quite normal though).

I haven't seen any new anime of the season yet besides Glasslip and Tokyo Ghoul, so this is gonna be sweeet

Reason why I use my laptop in bed is because I won't be needing a "bed time", I work my mind until it eventually gives out and sleeps.

And when I wake up, I could continue working right away. This way I wouldn't have a period of time where my mind has nothing to do.

Been living like this for longer than I could remember now, not sure if it's a side effect but it seems that I never have dreams.

That sounds...unhealthy.....

Dreams? Hmm, try some tea and what not. Dreams are awesome.

Lookin good so far.
Now add something more obscure like Shinsekai yori.

I guess that's one (extreme) way to deal with it.
But there have to be better ones, don't you think?

Overthinking is my middle name

Of course it does promote worrying, and I do worry about many things, but in my experience meditation isn't exactly a solution to that.

I have tried meditation a couple years back, and I do see what it does exactly. But the thing is, it costs a lot of time, and I don't see the benefits of it to be worth all the time it takes. And if you use meditation to 'clear the mind', then in my experience doing an activity that instead takes up all your concentration and just makes you lose all contact to reality works better instead. Plus, there's a whole lot of nasty pseudo science around it, which makes me incredibly skeptic. I'm sure there's a lot of science behind it too, but I just can't help but feel most people promoting meditation are just parroting the BS they have been told.

I like what you are saying, but I find that I am at a point in where if this goes on for me. It won't be healthy in the long run. Analyzing and overthinking society, events, and socio-political history brings about craziness....

Contractor in Real Estate. I make people happy when I sell a house or when they rent a house. People are always smiling and uber happy. The seller is estatic their house sold, and the buyer just bought the home they wanted. Same with rentals.

It sucks when you do foreclosures though.

OOOO, new anime are out

Downloading the super spicy ImoCho special anime BD and the Chuunibyou special.

Also getting Barakmon, Akame Ga kill, Dramatical Murder, Gekkan Shoujou as well.

I can't take Barakmon seriously. The name that is.

Every time I see it, it looks like Barack Obama being a monster of sorts

Instead of Poke-mon. It is Barack Mon. Hell, it could even be Jamaican Barack mahn

Just make sure you're not overworking your self, as that could be a huge source of stress. I know I was overworking myself the last month or two, but I kept up because I knew I'd have the relieve of summer vacation. I had stress and I was constantly tired. Not good.
