WataMote is a great read; a good deal awkward at times.

Great choice (content-wise)!

So the first episode of SAO II was alright, I guess.
Same old formular....I hope they mix things up a bit (not just by replacing swords with guns).

Death Gun....seriously?

And did he really say that they are still researching what these VR helmet thingys are capable of?
Why the **** are they even allowed to sell these things if they don't know what they might do with your body?!

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
That was stupid enough in the first season when they sold another version of this thing that was literally able to fry your brain.....

It's the most awkward anime/manga I know.
Cringe-worthiness in perfection.

wat? I thought it was just getting interesting..... especially since I'm into AR / VR as well.

Though the language barrier does reduce the cringing heavily. It still takes quite some effort to read Japanese for me.

Or it's just that the manga is less uncomfortable than the anime.

You have no idea how hard I laughed at the moment he said his name

and yes, those things will never ever meet CE or FCC compliance in reality.

Hmm... I never expected much after the first season. It was just another normal anime for me.

Just over-hyped by some people I guess.

Just finished reading Kagami No Kuni No Harisugawa; Yasuhiro sensei knows how to write a pretty cute love story.

Try The World God Only knows.

SFW, but its teen romance and very slight fanservice may give you weird looks.

One Shots you can try are HOTEL by the dude that wrote Sun Ken Rock (except SKR is NSFW)

What about The Breaker or HOLYLAND

I've read Kagami no kuni before and decent read...but a bit dissapoining imo.

You can thus try Sankarea. Similar feel.

But the ones I liked best in that sort of genre were Ane Doki, Ichigo 100%, and Negima.

That was intriguing and not boring at all. :D

But just one thing. Why keep calling the show SAO if it's an entirely different game? Though I guess GGO doesn't have the same ring as SAO.

Gonna check it out later.

and marketing. The series is known and popularized as that. Same reason why the VN's are also SAO

Ugh.....that's just not my thing.

Didn't know that this new "season" is a remake.
The music is alright and the transformation sequence is quiet something.

Now off to Gun Gale Online :P

Yeah, the CG transfo scenes are stupid

I've read the VN volumes of SAO up to Volume 11. This is A CRAP ton of stuff for those that don't get it. SAO Season 1, was literally one volume (plus an additional small side volume).

So I went quite far into the SAO world.

Not really a spoiler, but in terms of how much you can expect from SAO, my answer is below. Again, no plot spoilers, just what you can expect

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Pretty much nothing else. I believe it was volume 7 that had something that peaked interest, but past that, it literally...went balls up.

Remembering that each SAO volume is a crap ton of stuff so I am REALLY ahead in the series. I'm adding this to let you know that S1 of SAO wasn't Volumes 1-5. As a way to show that seriously nothing else of note happens.

Interesting. I'm probably going to watch it in an hour. XD

4 mins into Sailor Moon Crystal.......... Oh gawd, that art style... I was never a fan of Toei Animation either.....

Atleast they got the OP right with Momoiro Clover Z... might keep watching for a bit longer.

PS: What cruel parents named their daughter "Usagi" (TL: Rabbit) ?

Mmmm. So I guess Aldnoah is following in suite after Gundam. Except this time the guys in space don't like the earthlings ):

Wonder how much speed it'll pick up next episode.

Wow, we share a lot of reading interests. I adored The World God Only Knows. It was one of the series that actually hurt when it ended. I had the same reaction when FMP: Sigma ended; part of my life was over and I needed to find something to replace it. SKR is one I enjoy, so I'll be sure to check out HOTEL. And yeah, I don't read SKR at work for obvious reasons. The Breaker I've read and New Waves is one of my current favorite weekly reads. HOLYLAND I'll need to check out. And Sankarea is wonderful. I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens after the most recent development at the house. Negima was super cute. Akamatsu sensei does a great job of developing a wide range of characters (Love Hina, Negima, and UQ Holder!) for his stories. I'll add Ane Doki and Ichigo 100% to my list as well. I've also recently discovered Shokugeki no Soma which I think is one heck of an awesome series. I love the art style and the story is very fun.
