Planetes is amazing if you love a good (realistic) sci-fi drama.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is an excellent (darkish) comedy.

21st century boy is a classic saga. It's long, but kept set me at the very edge of my seat for its entire length.

Yotsubato is a cute slice of life manga about a little girl living together with his father. (also know due to the protagonist being the mascot of 4chan)

I think my Japanese is now good enough to start on easy light novels (and I really mean easy). I wanna see whether that works better than reading manga.

Sigh~ my Japanese reading skills have plateaued at a point where I can't even read daily-life stuff fast enough while my listening skills is already allowing me to watch anime / play VNs.... I blame my dyslexia..... :(

Would not recommend Punpun for something to be read in the work space. Reading it will make anyone frustrated and will make him want to crawl into a little corner and hide. Perfect for reading at home with an over sized bowl of ice cream, but I don't think it would suit his situation.

Thanks for the recommendations all! Looks like I should be set for a while. Working 17 hour days sucks but at least there are lulls in the action that allow me to do some reading and relax.

Of course I have. But in case someone didn't. I mean, it's in Humble Weekly now, so it's a good reason to share it. :-P
