Well they're on average about an 8 to me, so pretty good, yeah.

Speaking of 8's. I hate playing the waiting game for my grades of this term to come out. Pretty damn sure I passed everything, but this term's grades are pretty much going to fully determine whether or not I graduate cum laude or not. Right now I'm on average 8.11, and I need average 8.00 at least to graduate cum laude. Exciting.

Not quite sure how that grading system works but good luck~

Speaking of grades, I still couldn't be bothered check my grades for my last term.....

I just don't really give a damn about grades anymore lol.

I don't really either, except that it's kinda discrete and I get a 'better' piece of paper if I graduate with >8.00 as average grade. I'm so close to exactly that number that it's kinda exciting, really.

Finished rebuilding my PC with the Corsair Obsidian 450D. Really proud of my wiring job considering this is the first time I've had a decent amount of cable routing options.

<snip>

As per Hybrid's suggestion, I put the 120mm rear fan up top next to the CPU cooler and covered up the rest of the intake with some black felt. I found two of those Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO fans on eBay for $6, so when those get in I'll put one on pull duty on the CPU cooler and call it a day.

It's been super quiet with the fans on low voltages, and then if I need the performance later, I can ramp the fans up some more.

Allow me to come over to your place and show you how real cable management is done. :p Pretty decent job there though. Not sure how comfortable I am w/ having a 24-pin draped across the cutout at the back but I don't think you'll be changing coolers anytime soon.

That PSU still scares the **** out of me.

Edit: That other AF140 is a bit hard to see. I almost thought it wasn't there.

Yeah, I'm not gonna be replacing that one very often... It turns out I didn't even need that extender, oh well, I'll keep it since it looks nice... shrug

Lol

Nice!

Two for $6 right? Not both for $12 I hope.

Me? I just filled my entire case with Cougar Intake fans that were on sale. Sure, probably not as efficent when I could create that sort of pressure in my system with carefully placed fans and blocking the rest of the wholes. But there are way to many fricking vents on my case.

But dat GPU lol

Yup, well technically they were $1.04 with $5 shipping, but yeah.

I think the GPU is broked, it's idling at 80C.

This. What IS that thing?

Nspire 600W mostly modular (server?) PSU.

But seriously, when he sent me what it was as well. It scared the schiit out of me as well.

Dat potential to fry everything in your system... I'm glad it's holding so well for mech but I wouldn't put it anywhere near a rig.

Waiting on my Noctua Industrial PPC fans. Finally, black instead of brown and cream!

Like I said, it's been working for me for 6 years, methinks I'll replace it soon/eventually ;)

But really, are there any documented cases of PSUs blowing up everything in the system, other than people on forums saying it happened without any proof?

According to the mobo, the voltages are pretty spot on, 3.3v for 3.3, 5.0 for 5V and 11.8 for 12v...

You should do an android port!

That's normal, node.js is pretty new stuff (relatively).

jQuery had been the main js library for quite some time but there are newer libraries that are better than jQuery IMO.

My web app mentioned before uses the YUI3 library instead of jQuery. (and yes, the naming played a small role in why I decided to use it.... :p )

https://yuilibrary.com/projects/yui3/

As for android port, while technically possible, I haven't developed a single thing on the platform and know nothing about it........

I'm not about to dig into how android works anytime soon nor do I really want to play VNs on my phone....

Maybe you can give it a shot?

Here's some hints from me:

1. The game uses the O2 engine which supports android https://developer.novelsphere.jp/doc/o2doc/ (yes, all docs are in japanese AFAIK)

2. The game is warped in node-webkit which is basically just node.js and google chrome combined, it does not have an android port. https://github.com/rogerwang/node-webkit

3. google chrome is already on android so there shouldn't be much problems there (I guess?)

4. node.js (and all its packages) are open source, you should be able to compile them for android.

There are 2 ways you can get the games running on your mobile device:

1. install linux on it, there are many pre-built distros for ARM.

2. port node-webkit to android.

Have fun~

Ooh yui, nice~

I think I'll wait until I get into the CS department at my uni and actually know schiit before I attempt any of this though, haha

WUT??? Are you actually watching Free?

[Haruka Kanata]

lol I just noticed this english bit in the title...

Quote:
"Haruka Kanata"Reaching for there, we'll hold the sky colored with azure summer.

The horizon is boundless... Please tell me, dear bluebird. Where is the adress hiding happiness? I'm looking for the residence.

If Kanata is near, please cuddle up together. If Haruka is far, please rush here.

"Haruka Kanata" Fingertips are covered with feathers' color.

"To the far future" Reaching for there, we'll recall the sky dyed with rainy color.

I've seen them catch on fire and burn everything from the mobo to the HDD. It wasn't pretty. A friend almost totalled his system with a cheap generic(go Antec, but nooooo... >.>) one a few years back, don't know the details but I was told there was smoke and plenty of swearing.

Railwars EP1: I was expecting a loli Adamiya Smithiro explaining the effects of privatization and government regulation of monopolies on the rail road industry, and various "train girls" that represents different trains, but I guess this is OK too.

Anyone know any easy to read Japanese light novels (preferably) or perhaps visual novels? Furigana would also be nice.
I think my Japanese is now good enough to start on easy light novels (and I really mean easy). I wanna see whether that works better than reading manga.

Watched K Missing Kings movie today (at cinema), ugh now lets wait for season 2.

Also, saw K812 when I was walking around the shopping mall and listened a few songs using ZX1 with it, oh well...

Any good?
I watched the anime and it was alright.

Is that a good or a bad "oh well..."?

I also think season1 was ok, the movie has that same style and carries on the story from season1 quite naturally.

I guess you should be ok with it, if you think season1 was alright.

Well, I was at a shopping mall, which was noisy and not suitable to test open phones.

Overall it was an ok listen. But even in that environment, it was clear that certain frequency range in upper mids or treble was in a mess..

LOL. I could see that happening though. It would make lots of sense.

Random, but any manga suggestions to read at the office? Prefer to keep it safe for work, obviously. I'll read most anything as long as the story is engrossing with an attractive art style. Just finished reading Kagami No Kuni No Harisugawa; Yasuhiro sensei knows how to write a pretty cute love story.
