Rail War 01:

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Okay, what's with the headphones? He didn't have them on when he was about to shoot and then has them on when he falls.

Also this oppai shenanigans is a bit excessive.

Argevollen is turning out OK so far.
Mahouka is still the same as before, Tatsuya vi Britainnia will soon clash with 3rd high Suzaku for the right to the not crippled imouto.
Glasslip is well, SoL.
Maybe I should watch SAO because Kirito is more moe now. (Lolnope, being a girl still doesn't excuse you for being a DPS that needs to l2play)
Not excited for blade dance and trinity seven, think both of them are coming this season or soon. Will watch for the PLOT.
Will watch Kantai collection for just to understand what's going on at sadpanda.
Fate/Kaleid is on my list for dat archer or whatever.
Gotta get Psycho Pass off my back log when my download speed is not at 50kbps.

lol, these series overviews, ESPECIALLY, of Mahouka is pretty awesome.

It really does not look like this is gonna happen.

That is pretty ****ed up.
But what about the International Criminal Court (ICC)?

Exactly.
"You people eat people and after this nonsensical organ transplant I also have to eat people! Woe me! But this one-eyed cafe cannibal lady is now my love interest.".
If they don't introduce a proper overarching story (and not some "we have to fight the bad cannibals!"), I'm out.

Not sure what the ramification of it is for the African Union and how it holds up internationally...

Not sure if you guys have heard of Node.js but it's a Javascript runtime for writing web applications.

I've been writing an audio-related app using this for the whole of yesterday night, it looks something liked this:

Its increasing popularity these days evolved javascript from a simple web-page scripting language to a full-fledged programming language capable of easily creating desktop applications. Because it's web-based you can run Node.js apps on virtually any platform that could run Firefox or Chrome.

Now, back to the game "Haruka Kanata" that I was talking about before... I just installed the game and ran the exe, what did I get?

Hmmm..... uncaught node.js Error...... Wait, WHAT?

I opened the Task Manager and surely enough, there it is! "nw.exe" which stood for node-webkit: a tool for packaging node.js as a desktop App!

A peek in the game folders revealed TONNS of SQLite database files.

In the end I reinstalled the game and got it working again:

Aftermath:

So what does all this mean for a node.js developer such as myself?

...

...

I could probably port this game over to any platform such as OSX, iOS, Android, Linux very easily!

Not only that, depending on how secure the game is made I could probably hack into it and do all sorts of things.....

More updates on this later... :D

But this just begs the question: How many node.js applications are out there now?

Huh, I just learned javascript last quarter, but nothing about any of the addons really, other than jQuery. Sounds pretty nifty though.

You should do an android port!

I think they're making new ones?

Most of those new releases are actually VNs I would read, looking forward to the Golden Lightning.

Very good news for Higurashi, maybe now that it's getting a face-lift and easier accessibility through Steam, more people would pick it up. Let the mindf**k begin!!

My daily dose of mindless moe. I forgot how much I enjoyed this show.

Finished uni for the coming few months. I have summer vacation until freaking October. This feels so unreal.

No idea what I'm going to do over summer vacation yet. Coming 3-4 will be spent on going on vacation, and there's a 3-day convention in August, but that's as far as my plans go.

Never done math while watching anime, actually. But I do plan on doing some math. Not too much though.
And anime... Well, I'm still stuck at like episode 5 or 6 in last season. Don't feel that much like watching either -- maybe I'll just collectively drop all of them. (except maybe Ping Pong, might watch that tomorrow or something)

Free! season 2, Jojo, Korra, Sailor Moon: Crystal are what I'll be watching.
