Because seriously, it is quite good.

TYG, its a matter of upbringing and what not. But most people do indeed place an intrinsic value on inanimate objects while some place them on animate animals and most people both.

Depressing things can be masterpieces, sure. See Punpun :P
I'm just not in the mood for stuff like this.

And that is A-OK!
I value and like all my super special versions of CDs, my big comfy wingchair, my books, plants etc etc.
But something like a car or a bicyle are really just things that help me getting from A to B.
My PC let's me do all the PC stuff that I like so much. Nothing more than a tool to me.
I hope you get what I'm trying to say.

Anyhow, I never got to ask. How durable is the sight on your paintball gun? Is it possible to get shot out?

Not very durable at all, cheap sight that was only meant and bought by me to complete the mil-spec look.

It does have warranty against breaking from paintball damage though, but the shipiing to return it is generally more than the sight costs.

Participated in a photo contest thingamabob today.
Everyone got ten topics and had to shoot one photo per topic.
Took me almost seven hours of brainstorming and running around the town to get these ten shots together....needless to say that I'm fairly tired.
Last year I got in 30th place (out of 450 participants) and won a €30 voucher for a nice restaurant. Let's see in which place I'm gonna end up this year :P
Wasn't that please with my shots.

Gambatee soup kun!

Take some pics of Japanese stuff and at the very end, put a picture of a glorified flag of Japan and Germany crossed together

That will place #1 in my heart.

Lol nice. Wikipedia and Google did help me a bunch; not so much about the Red Bull or Vodka though.

Dayum. Grats. I could never write a thesis.
Thanks! Honestly, my report was mostly about the methods, results, and future work to be done. It's not too bad, just that a lot of time needs to be put into putting everything together in written form. I had things planned out, but writing it takes a lot of time. XD

Can't stop listening to the Mekakucity Actors OP. Sooooo nice.

Mekakucity Actors 10: cute backstory

Mushishi Zoku Shou 9: milk? Wat?

Ping Pong 10: nice feels at the end

No Game No Life 10: mostly a humor episode, liked the end a lot. Made me laugh quite a bit.

Wow, those are pretty impressive measurements for your 202s! :O
Obviously the 202s sound better because they cost more, hurr durr...
Wat, but those are the 207s, and the 202 does not cost more. XD

Derp, that is what I get for typing stuff out late at night when I'm tired and distracted -_-

Bullschiit, That games for you PAL weirdos and not the NTSC masterrace so it's invalid. :p

Phew, after a late night last night and fighting Creative's terrible drivers (and having to buy a $5 piece of software for whatever reason) I have my desktop up and running and my 5.1 surround sound in my room back up and running! :)

Nice!

I went to Guitar Center today to demo some studio monitors

The Rokit RPG5 G2 were quite bad. Very metallic sounding with a clear tilt towards the mid range. Imagine one of the 'bad' ultrasone models except take away the bass, and make the mid range more full (Ultrasones generally have bass and a selective bias in the mid range and a dip in there) and give it a very high 'snap' to that range and you have the RPG G2's

I don't know how you can seriously mix with those things. Sounded clear, but anemic, with no low end.

eww

Out of the ones I demod, I paid most attention to the ones I could afford, meaning $150 monitors. The Presonus Eris E5 caught my eye for having the most balance, and musical sound. For a studio monitor, there were better ones from Mackie at doing its job, but the E5 from Presonus was a best of both worlds in reproducing music like a consumer set, while still having monitor features.

But all in all, I don't think I will be geting studio monitors anytime soon. I've been in this long enough to know that I personally enjoy speakers that make consumer music sound good. Nothing else will do.

Hence why I use Logitech Z623's driven out of a proper DAC. Works well with almost everything.
