You aren't even living that far away from the border, right?

KissAnime breaks right when I want to start Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom.
Must be karma or something.

Yeah, I think 20-30 km? Surely less than 50.

Google Maps says it's <500 km [actually, it's the longest track it showed, there are ones ~350 km/3 hours] to Lübeck (you live around there, right?). Also says it's about 4 hours by car.

350km is nothing to sneeze at, but still closer than anyone else here :P

Oh now that's just fantastic.....Steam Summer Sale next week (most likely).
Good thing I blew all my money on creepy anime BS, CDs, enchiladas and train tickets.
Laaaame....

I still can't get over how hype this new promo is. Most anticipated show of the next season!

Holy crap that's frighteningly good Mayoi cosplay! :O

Yay, done with exams! Now it's time to pack all my stuff up and move home tomorrow!

Also, @bowei006 or @HybridCore or other PC-fi folks... I think it might be time for a PC case upgrade... I still have an Antec 900, but considering there's construction going on behind our house that's apparently bad enough to cause all the people in our neighborhood breathing trouble, I think I need something with dust filters... Would also like something without lots of LEDs, and is more minimalist. What get? The NZXT H440 looks beautiful but the lack of 5.25" bays is sad, and the build looks kind of cheap with the bright colored plastic. So now I'm debating between the Corsair 450D and the Fractal R4 w/ window... Looks like the 450D is cooler but the R4 is quieter. I'm not really sure how the 900 compares, but my Ivy bridge Xeon can idle at up to 45C, and the AMD 4870 Kalbee gave me seems to like idling at 79C in my current case, so I'm guessing I might need dat better airflow D:

The others pretty much got them all but check out Corsairs new PC cases, just give it a quick google. They look pretty nice

Congrats!

I was expecting some kind of tsundere-loli Detective Conan but oh boy is it more than just that!
That show got super dark towards the end!
The mysteries themselves were alright, but the overarching story that connects them and the way everything plays out in the end was super cool!
The characters are solid, but nothing special.
You rarely get to see a setting like this (WWI and WWII), so that's a big plus.
It's really worth sitting through all the okay-ish parts in the first half of the show because the second one has so much to offer! Oh and the ending is cool too.

Really pleasantly surprised :)

Reminds me of Natsu no ARashi

It's a good show, but very dark themed and mature. Is it up  your alley German kun?

All but one have drive bays (The H440) but they're covered up for ninja-ness!

Are you still going to run Mac OS in the form of a hackintosh? :O
Yup, I saw a video of the cases; that's pretty cool.

Naw, I probably won't really move on with OS X in the future since I'm not liking the new direction they're going with these famous California tourist attraction OSs. OS X is fine for the laptop form factor but every desktop form of OS X I've tried kinda sucks. Either the screen is way too big or OS X just doesn't feel right with a mouse. Their Magic Trackpad is terrible too since it's so friggin big. XD

Then again, I don't like Windows 8 on the desktop either...it's fine in a laptop form factor though. : p

The only Mac-specific apps I'll probably miss are Audirvana Plus, XLD, TeXShop (installing LaTeX in Windows is a huuuuuuuuuge pain in the a$s; on Mac, you simply install 1 thing), TextWrangler, Skype, BetterTouchTool, and maybe Final Cut Pro depending on how easy/hard Sony Vegas Pro or other similar video editing software is on Windows. I will miss Finder and Spotlight though if I do switch over. I don't like Windows Explorer at all.

And I guess the whole installation of whatever crap drivers are needed for Windows is something I'll miss from OS X.
Plug in USB flash drive:
Windows - install drivers...wait for 2 minutes for the things to install, ready to use after all that
Mac - oh, there it is, ready to use from the get-go

Yeah maybe I will install hackintosh stuff. XD

Maybe if our times overlap. I'm also bringing my aunt/mom everywhere, so maybe it would be awkward? They're both pretty cool tho :)
