An argument about nekomimi vs furries :p

Obviously nekomimi are superior in all cases!

EDIT: I guess I should clarify. It was an argument about the differences between nekomimi and furries.

This one is exactly the same as mine, but I got mine for $118 AUD from Sydney (eBay). A search for "smd rework station" on eBay will bring up a variety of other models.

Truer words have yet to be spoken regarding this subject...

After Ocelot hands Snake Miller's sunglasses, control was handed over to the producer who was running the demo. The camera rotated behind Snake, and then, his horse defecates. The producer clarified: "Your horse will defecate. That's a feature."

Thank you, KojiPro.

Wow, first time I see a Nihon-jin on Twitch!
He even has generic J-Pop playing in the background while Playing BF Hardline :P
Oh and the most interesting thing is that he has a text-to-speech programm running that reads the chat to him in Japanese.
Very elaborate stream!

Bought something special for a mate's birthday;

Auchentoshan 1975, which is a whopping 35 years old. It cost a wallet destroying $600, which was not too soul crushingly expensive since we split the cost three ways with a few mates. At least that's how I like to justify the expense...

I always like to have some correlation between money spent and the quality I get. And while I do think $600 is waaaay too much for any bottle of whiskey, this was a once in a lifetime purchase, so I thought it was okay to let loose just a little, yolo once, right guys? :p It's not like I was buying some over-marketed Johnnie Walker limited edition blend, meaning that I'm not paying too much for the name.

Bottled at cask strength (only 46.9%, the angels sure had their fair share) and it's non-chill filtered, it ticks all the right boxes so how was it..?

Absolutely delicious, but I won't be able to have another dram until the next special occasion. ><

He also bought the V-Moda M100's for himself, I had a listen and it's not tooo too bad for a portable, quite good actually!

What a day.

I could never justify more than $30 for a consumable.

It's only $30.....per serving. :p

Alcohol is a long journey, just like headphones! I remember telling myself I'd never need a headphone that cost more than $170, which is what the AD700 cost at the time...

For me, no amount of non-consumable items like more audio gear can ever match the satisfaction of having a quality drink with some good company, it really does make you appreciate life a little more. It's just audio gear, it will be around for all of eternity, but we sure as hell wont be!

Most expensive stuff I had was when I was on a trip with my Dad to visit an old acquaintance of his, who, unbeknownst to me, was a huge Wine collector and connoisseur, opened a 1986 bottle of Petrus Pomerol Bordeaux, I had gone through a whole glass before he told me the price.... I nearly spat out that last mouthful. D: You realise how many headphones I could have gotten with that money!?

The only alcoholic beverage I ever occasionally consume is either sake or soju. This might change depending on the results of the only unit I haven't gotten my results back for.
