Mekaku City Actors: that SHAFT feel that we all know and love. Glad I decided to procrastinate and pick this up today.

Hong Konger sounds like someone that liks King Kong movies on first listen

Whenever someone asks me where I'm from, I say I'm a Hong Konger. If they ask "That's in China, right?" I just say yes. Ethnically, I am Chinese, but when given the choice, I'd rather identify myself as a "Hong Konger" than "Chinese". Sovereignty vs. an individual's thoughts. It's too much effort to explain it every time.

But, if someone asks my nationality, I'd say I'm Australian. Not the "G'day, mate" or "Let's put another shrimp on the barbie" type, just in terms of locality and according to what my passport says.
Racially, you are Chinese, Ethnically, you are a Hong Konger

You mixed the two up

Yeah I don't really say Chinese unless I don't want to confuse people. It's part of some silly nationalistic pride thingie

also finally found this thread lol
Race=Chinese still
MWAHAHAHAHA

No matter what, you can't escape your race.

HK pride?

haha i prefer to identify as canadian more. i don't really have any hk pride or anything that really makes me hk or chinese other than like... badminton.

i don't like saying chinese because apparently i look very mandarin so lots of mandarin people will ask me where i'm from so they can speak mando with me because they like speaking over english. most of my friends who do speak canto never actually do, we like english more.

Depends on whether you were born pre or post 1997. If the former, Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Else, Hong Kong, China. I'm thinking most likely the former.

Welcome to possibly the most active thread on Head-Fi!

On an unrelated note, your DP looks like Mio's K-ON!! Character Song albom cover, but the hair style's different.

EDIT: Well this answers my question. I'm used to seeing the first image!

Another edit: But still, the art style is a bit different.

Yeahh I didn't really think anything of it but now that you mention it does feel like something's off with my pic, the ratio might be slightly wrong o;

on a side note i'm re-watching k-on and being mad because liar game is still not over...

Haha they butchered it bad...

Especially this episode. Episode 9 was so bad... just....

That series needed to stay as a series of songs instead of being adapted.

Anyone know of a jack extender thats similar to an impedance adaptor or a 1/8 to 1/4 in jack converter. My right angle connector doesn't fit through my case, and I don't want an extender that has extra line, I want to just plug and play.

Thank you @EveTan and @vantt1 for suggesting songs that will last me a long while. Just 8 songs is quite a big upgrade for me (I'm a very picky person). @bowei006, @Exesteils, @Tom Yum Goong, @BucketInABucket I listened to your suggestions. However after replaying the songs over and over, I think I might have deleted them from loss of interest to keep them in my playlist >.<

As for your rewards, you can see what I've added to my list and what my current playlist is.

Edit 2: Just saying I might have downloaded over 50gb of songs over the past week >.<

I don't even know which songs you are talking about ♥
Yeah, but that's what this thread is for! Surprisingly enough, it fulfills its purpose from time to time.
Here, have another song (that you will not like).

The HQ animations and Chitanda's casual moments are keeping me interested.

Looks like you are not as into the whole mystery thing as yours truly :P
It's a hit or miss thing (especially these "mundane" mysteries).

Jup, the SHAFTness is there. Music is also pretty good. Also has some of the WTF moments that I love so much.
But besides that....it's a bit lacking.
