シドニア - Angela

Bloated bass over everything, random autotune and just overall bad mastering. Would have been awesome if they stuck with the slow vibe at the start.

So the gist is: it's pretty great, especially for the price, except that Cyanogenmod is kind of crappy, as I expected. Also no microSD slot. So much for "Never settle".

Hmm, 16GB on board is kind of small for me, so I'll just settle for the 64GB.

You gottem there!

Mahouka ep 6, just started

Where the hell did Ono sensei pop out of?!?!?1 dafuq?

EDit:

Just finished it.

I liked the

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
reasoning part at the very end. When the dude came and asked to get on the car, I liked how the chairman said no because his reason was bull. This doesn't happen too often in anime. Where you will get a response for why someone is doing something.

The dude's response was pretty standard but worked well. It was for revenge...and it worked decently enough :)

Next episode is also pretty solid. Though I disagreed with Mibu's reason for not pursuing her love and all that, I can see where it's coming from. Also, Tatsuya is apparently OP

Does anyone know the plans for Shingeki no Kyojin's second season?

This song reminded me of it.

And likewise for this one:

Wow, this really sounds like Sawano Hiroyuki's style.....

Don't get why people were so hyped about the OnePlus, remove the price tag and compare it with others, there isn't anything new it brings to the table.

Mahouka's story makes no sense so far

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Giving the exclusiveness of the magical power, people that are not born with it will feel cheated. So far all they have said is "don't be jelly scrub" and progressed with the story.

Then a few High School? kids charged into a building, destroying a gate and wounding most of them and killing a few?. It doesn't different much from a lynch mob..
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
Who are the bad guys now? The many non-magican that lead to a lesser life from what I have seen?  A few that abuse their absolute power?

I know, the OnePlus is basically an Oppo Find 7a without capacitive buttons. And it doesn't even have a MicroSD card slot, as @jgray91 mentioned. Sure, it's $299 or something, but the availability of the phone is so weird. It's like invite only or something.

I'm watching Haganai right now. Watching 6 episodes at once sure beats waiting for a new one each week! But all this talk about Nisekoi and Mahouka is making me curious...

Is there enough manga for a complete second season yet?

I'm liking Mahouka quite a bit. Especially in how it casually delves a bit deeper into the comming of age topic (although not going full blown into it) and dealing with questions, issues, and just general things that are in the 'back of the mind'.

In ep 7

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
When I saw Kirihara with Saya, it was obvious that the story decided to drop them together as an item. It happens often, its something implied, and taken to mean something. But I liked how Mahouka took that thought of mine, proded through it with decent modesty. Saya's feelings were also intergrated into it well and how Kirihara was the man she chose to be someone that she could 'be at the same pace with', and that Tatsuya was indeed an initial love interest.

Very interesting that they quickly did this.

Another purposeful and back of the mind event in early ep 7 was during the fight sequence. During any fight scenes of anime like such, the idea of death, and bodily harm plays a part into it. Its obvious to viewers when an anime choses to take the 'no blood' and or 'no death' path as opposed to the path. Mahouka casually led you to believe the former with its fight scenes and terrorist take-over in the previous episode, but ep 7 did a quick switch. The quick switch also wasn't a complete switch but one that shines light on the deliberate nature of the series. We can observe this at the very last moment when Tatsuya's sister castered her spell. Before that, it was just fun and games for her (making oni-chan jokes and all), but right after she casted it, she truly realized what she had done to the people. The immediate scene after that continued the thought of 'real' consequences and actions when Tatsuya shot and pierced the body's of the assailants, and when spin-zaku sizzling wok-blade man Kirihara sliced the Blance guys hand off. The scene was very dark, the blood splatters were highly visible, and boom, it was over as fast as it had happened. However It wasn't something that was just thrown in. The deliberate nature of adding those two adjacent scenes together, how the cinematography of the bodily harm, and damage was done, along with the regret that Tatsuya's sister showed at the very end was quite appealing to me

Large large post...but hope you guys read it.

I'm liking how Mahouka is very dilligent and purposeful with many of the 'back of the mind' thoughts that happens.

Not to mention that for once, it seems like all this imo-love and smitten scenes are actually intergral to the backstory, comming-of-age theme, history, and future events.

I'm only caught up - in terms of episodes - with One Week Friends, Mahouka, and Sidonia. But all 3 of them in their latest episodes have been quite excellent.

10/10, would recommend watch
