Lol actually just read that terrible anidb synopsis. Here's the ANN one:

Quote:
Shu is a typical Japanese boy, but has an unbeatable, optimistic and determined attitude. However, when he sees a mysterious girl with strange eyes named Lala-Ru up on a smokestack, he is soon pulled into a strange desert world. Shu soon discovers the true terrors of war, which includes genocide, brutal torture, hunger, thirst, and child explotation. Now Shu is trying to save Lala-Ru, as well as his hard earned, and often relunctant, new friends from the insane dictator, Hamdo. Whether Shu can possibly accomplish saving those he cares about while still holding up to his values remains to be seen.

No, seriously. Don't. Ever.

Just out of curiosity.... why not?

I'm gonna guess it's nothing to do with the literal meaning......

Free steak at the train station. Part of some promotion of cooking butter, and it was cooked live and pretty good rib eye too.

Dat luck.

Ra ra ruu* Funny, when she takes on an alias later in the show as Larla they still pronounce it exactly the same.

Yeah I just went and looked at MAL's tags and ratings section. No crappy-description reading for me! :D

(I stopped reading descriptions/synopsis after seeing how descriptive and accurate what MAL (and 2 others) put for both the madoka and psycho pass descriptions where. Accurate? yes. Does it actually say anything about what the story is actually about? no. -__-)

That was a great show and yes, very depressing. It's one of those that kind of sticks in your brain a few days after that "stoning scene" or the end.... Worth a watch for sure however.
