Haha. Its more like I was a huge fan of the song series. Compared to the source material, the anime was bland.

The nico douga folk aren't too pleased about how it turned out either, looking at their comments.

I guess I'm too spoilt by WoT (mods).

Still, system seller for me.
Is it just me, or does that game look insanely boring? I couldn't even make it half way through the video.

I'm really looking forward to the new Mekaku episode!

I might give Sidonia another try once a few more episodes are out.

It's not just you, the handling is atrocious and gameplay is retarded, the guys who make this should have just stuck with making galges.

Specs:

Intel Celeron G1820

4 GB RAM

60 GB SSD + 2 TB HDD (and will also be networked)

Using integrated graphics and audio

Nice! I do hope the integrated GPU will be powerful enough to handle 10 bit decoding with madVR. If so, that's a pretty sweet setup on the cheap!

You still won't like it. I think it's hilarious how poorly they did the mouth animations in this show, but then a major character wears a mask.... they ALL look like they are wearing masks xD .

If I was in charge of this project, I would have made up some BS story or stolen the Quarian design from Mass Effect and stuck em all in helmets haha. I'll watch it becuse the story does seem interesting and the bad guys look pretty awesome.

Oh man there were a lot of pages this weekend. I mean 20 isn't THAT many but it seems like it when you decide to read them all.

Very off putting. At least to me.

And this is the reason why I'm still kind of interested in it. Maybe it turns out to be more than just a mech-show?

So far the best things about Sidonia are:

1) The weathered look on the mechs and buildings. Those are clever details.... shows us that this place isn't some perfect dreamworld.

2) The "3rd" gender. Why this show needs this I do not know but if it's got a Hideyoshi, then that's usually worth a watch lol.

Some photos from the concert last night:

Uematsu is so adorable ♥

Berlins central train station is a pretty impressive building. Too bad it's totally as fragile as it looks. Sometime when the wind is too strong, some of these glass panels break. Great fun.

What an amazing night. They played a lot of my favorite songs. No Dancing Mad though :'(
I bought some kind of artbook there with a short synopsis of every game and some artwork.
I also went to a big otaku store the next morning but every<thing they sold there was so bloody expensive....Haruhi artbook for €46....
