Sports animes...

Masaaki Yuasa is one of the best directors around; Mind Game, and Tatami Galaxy are two of the most original anime out there.

I don't what to expect out of Ping Pong, but expect it to be colorful

Also, just finished D-frag. Can't help but think how mediocre it was; it wasn't bad. Had a couple of laughs, but I liked the manga so much better for some reason. 6/10

Haha, well free was a fun watch :p but I'm an ex-swimmer, so that justifies it.

Going to finish the adaptation since I left it at ~6. I can get what you're saying for the manga, though.

That's another sexy device

Enjoyed TRavens and Witch CW this season. Buddy complex probably won't amount to much since they're going to split it (I'm sure there're 24-26 episodes- unless all hell breaks loose and people in Japan hate it so much that the studio has to say no,). Time to catch up on other shows that I left sitting at ~ep 6.

How does it sound? And what's the actual battery life? None of this garbage benchmarking with playing 128 kbps music.

Alright my AAMML Neko-fanatics, today we have...... Asobi ni Ikuyo! (Let's go Play). I would recommend setting your expectations based on that title, that's what I did and I enjoyed the show. Here we have a classic harem anime setup where an sexy alien befriends a teenage boy and stuff happens.

The animation from AIC here was really good, well above average in my opinion. The character designs were pretty standard fare with the Japanese long black haired bishoujo, the short brown haired feisty childhood friend..... you know how this works by now I'm sure.

So what set's this show apart from all the other ecchi harem anime I have seen? Mostly the Neko factor, but I felt the characters were handled in an interesting enough way to keep me engaged, particularly Futaba Aoi. She is much like Yami in To Love Ru, but more human and a lot less dandere. Given more than 12 episodes, her arc could have been really good as she had a lot of baggage to work through.

Note, there was a ton of nudity in the Blu-ray release. I was really surprised, they give Highschool DxD a run for it's money.

7/10

Hmm I like Futaba (among more likeable Hanazawa characters to me) and her ED, and the OP song also. The anime itself not so much...

Meh, gave up gaming years ago when the market became full of 3D graphics instead of top-down view...

I did forgot to stop playback and left it there overnight once, and when I realized that after like ~12hrs, it still have about 40% left, and also I had been using it for hours after last charge.

So I think it should be capable of at least like 20+ hrs playback, especially if you don't use the screen much.

Received the attempted delivery ticket from DHL for my K-On! vinyl yesterday morning, hmm.

... I'm not too sure, since I'm not that skilled with android. I tested it just straight out of the box... and I got less than 10 hours.

But I just got some advice from some more pro android people.. so hopefully that'll increase it. I've heard it should be around the same life as an iTouch, but who knows.

I came into it skeptical of the sound... wasn't impressed by the AK120, so I didn't have hopes for another audiophile player. Thought it might be a buy and sell type thing.
I'm probably keeping it. At least for a while. The sound is very clean. And I'll leave it at that. Don't have the vocabulary to describe it, but definitely the best I've heard so far. Probably not worth $700, but for the whole package, a functional UI with decent sound, I'll take it. Noticiably better than straight out of a Mac, Project H (well, it's not built for IEMs), and my iPhone.

Can you help me with some settings? It's my first android device so I don't know what tips and tricks I should use to minimize battery usage. Since right out of the box it's pretty terrible.

Everything is wrapping up:

D-Frag: 8/10 ... Rated purely for comedic value, had my kind of goofy characters, ended much more funny to me than it started.

Hamatora: 4/10 .... I really had to work to finish this one. How do you have this uber sad cliffhanger ending to one episode, then the very next episode is like a slapstick comedy that makes to reference to the prior episode? Hamatora was full of that kind of stuff.

Tokyo Ravens: 6/10 .... There was enough to like to make this better than a 5, but it missed out on so many possibilities to have a better score. Suffered from too many 1-dimensional characters.

Its my first android device too orz

Basically I just go to options and turn off everything, and perhaps google services. And also there is a page to check power consume of each processes.

Btw the DSEE thingy in audio settings decreases battery life quite significantly.

Content embed is strong in this post. XD

Not listen to it for 10 straight hours, but more like listen to it when you can and not worry about charging it for X days.
