lol the Unix shell is a good one. Speaking of which I'm writing a 20000 word thesis on Unix and security atm.

20000? That doesn't seem too bad, but it seems a bit low for a thesis if it's a PhD thesis that I'm thinking about. I have about 1/10 of that amount of words in my current research write-up, and I've only got the introduction and background mostly written. I still have to add more stuff to the background, do the methods, results, future outlook, and conclusions.

Well ****, someone dumped the translations for the first 2 volumes of this on /a/ earlier today, I've been waiting for this since forever. It's basically a battle seinen series drawn by YOKO (yes, the YOKO of Masturbation Master Kurosawa and Molester Man). The plot is really generic, people with special powers fighting each other and stuff but the powers have such awesome names like "Instant Shounen Jump" or "Disaster Ball" (literally) and are really fun. The characters are mostly bat**** crazy and the manga is pretty self-aware as well, it would totally pass as a sister series to Medaka Box. I mean...

Anyone knows more? Might be decent. I mean the mentioned series are held in high regard if I remember correctly, right (including ITT)?

You know what the world really needs?

Twitch drives "driverless" Google cars.

Merciless killing and total destruction through the power of internet anarchy!

Awesome pig in a blanket style, but full-size hotdog I got at a Shinkansen station (Osaka I think?)

20000 is about average for a undergrad level thesis. Which is roughly 40 pages.

Is Witch Craft Works really that good?
I watched the first episode and the story seemed to be pretty generic. The only thing that was kind of interesting were the characters.

liked it ever since I first read it

Except swimming is boring as hell. It is boring enough when you do it yourself, it is just unbearable when you are watching it.

I don't really get sports anime or shows. Especially since I have been swimming competitively for such a long time, it is just odd.

What. Swimming is fun. Then again, I'm a former swimmer

That sounds about right, more or less. I thought defqon was doing graduate studies though.

Also, nice avatar! Hahaha.

That looks like kimchi, which is a Korean dish. XD

And that does look like a really tasty pigs-in-a-blanket! My gawd. I've only made the ones with croissant rolls and mini-hot dogs.

They made that at Baskin Robbins?

I just figured it was undergrad.

Thanks, one of my favorite scenes lol.

Ah, mmk.

Lucky bstrd. What uni? And how much is it?

Swinburne, $35k all up I'm guessing. Planning to do a 2 year Master's degree after I graduate next year.

Graduate work was planned in the future, but not yet. Close enough. :p

Ok, not well versed in Korean food, but it was tasty so maybe I should find a place around here. Yeah the girl at Baskin Robins took like 10 min to make that, you can see in the full size version of the photo that she even put nostrils in the nose xD much attention to detail. I'm sure she thought it was odd that a 190cm tall white person ordered that lol but it was too "Japan" for me to pass up.
