Oh you get used to that. At least I did.

Listen to some glorious Hancock instead.
Ah yes, Hancock is always a pleasure to listen to too.

@mechgamer123
Here's your amoeba Enigma.

LFF: Both the Paradox and Slant were available to sample at his station. The Paradox is as neutral as it is renowned for, and the Slants being his interpretation of colored headphones were definitely fun. However, I was blown away by the Enigma that he pulls out as I was trying out his headphones. Really cool looking sugi burnt wood finish (and I'm a big fan of wooden headphones already) and an excellent performer throughout the range, with sweet and involving mids, great bass extension without sounding boomy in a mostly closed design, and just the right amount of treble that doesn't get overwhelmed. Very close to pulling the trigger on them once I figure out if I have space for keeping yet another pair of headphones.

In other words, that description can be copy-pasta for the Alpha Dog except being fully closed. XD

Let's hope it's as epic as Metal Gear Solid 4 was.

Also, that amoeba of an Enigma was at the Bay Meet.

Well it's also because I suck with the camera still, and the lighting wasn't all that great.

Yay~

Whatever, I was able to file a chargeback with our bank.

Got a new lens for my camera today. The sigma 70-300 F/4-5.6 macro. Ugh, what a useless pile of junk. The focusing motor is loud and slow, and you have to be like six feet away for the macro mode to work. =_=

what camera you have?  did you get that nikon you suggested?

Yup.

I have the Nikon D3200, I suggested the 5100 though, if that's within your budget. The 5200 might be cheap enough now too, I dunno.

Oh boy, those hinges look nice and DIY don't they?

Remember, you can choose different connectors since you have to build the cable! ;)

No I have the E7, but I lent it to my brother since the ODAC takes care of the DAC stuff for me for now.

Don't care if it is poopy or not. What counts is letting Steam know that their platform needs more creepy japanese comic games!

OH this game. I had totally forgotten about it.

You guys should definitely get it, as from what I remember reading about it, it teaches you on traveling tips in Japan and teaches Japanese/English to boot (hence both the English and Japanese text displayed... no, that isn't OHTH with a translation software).

Art is pretty nice too.

Nope, totally unrealistic. The tongue, by default, doesn't hang low enough!

In other news...

Those with 2D girlfriends/waifus can now have them on t-shirt, sweater/hoodie, or even on your very own (new pair of) pantsu.

As expected of Akihabara. (This store is an artist specialty store, meaning it sells various goods, custom printed or nay, of some of the more prominent bishoujo-art artists)

ikr

But these are 'official' goods, so the artist actually gets a chunk of it. Or at least the company pays the artists a licensing fee.

Kinda like responsible coffee sourcing...

(btw that first sweater, only the zipper is real. ribbon, blazer, buttons all are prints)

Did we already mention the company that does full sized anime curtains? xD

Ho dang, if I get a PS4, I'm DEFINITELY getting this. I missed out on Guns of the Patriots.

A trailer with gameplay footage? Yay!

The stealth aspect isn't as cool as the OctoCamo in MGS4, but I like the Assassin's Creedl-like espionage. Wow, they even have the bullet drop effect for long-distance shooting. I think Crysis had that too.

Anyone here ever join an anime club, or is currently in one? I just joined my high school anime club, and the students there freak me out.

Rational discussions in anime clubs? C'mon now.

Golden means the game has been finalized and is on its way to the press for production to begin. Here's the quote:

We've got some excellent news for you today: Steins;Gate is finally gone Golden Master and is on its way to the duplicators for printing. The shipping date for the Limited Edition of the game is March 31st, so if you want to secure your copy, make sure you preorder soon to avoid it selling out too early. We've got more good news, the announcement of the Steins;Gate Standard Edition, which you can also preorder, for shipping on April 30th. Steins;Gate is one of the most legendary visual novels ever made, a fascinating story of hardcore science and time travel, and we're immensely glad to be bringing this game to everyone. The game will be shipping 100% DRM free, and the Limited Edition comes with a download code for free, so you can be playing the game while you wait for the package edition to arrive.

It does indeed mean it's going to be released in the US!
