Is Kill La Kill really that good? I've heard good things about it but I've been rather apprehensive.

It's OK. The unnecessary stripper outfits is annoying though.

If you liked Gurren Lagan, you'll like it. If you haven't seen that show (like I haven't) then maybe?

Noo, there's totally a reason for it!

Kill la kill is heavilly metaphor based. Which is awesome. It's streamlined and near flawless execution is impeccable as well.

Well, I have .gif of Gamagoori whipping Ryuuko's backside, now that's just inexcusable fanservice. The various references are pretty cool though, like when Satsuki first showed up and said a few lines similar to those in Orwell's 1984.

As for Lotte no Omocha, it was actually the first manga that I followed, back when I was 12. I never got around to watching the anime though, maybe I'll give it a go.

Ahh really?

One of my first anime's or manga's that I LEGIT saw was Ichigo 100%. That is one of my top manga :D

When I say legit, I mean that I found it myself and wasn't something I saw on adultswim.

Yeah, Kill la Kill has a lot of fan service, but it justifies it through its metaphor of a female comming of age and over-sexualization of the female body during that period.

Why is it inexcusable? There are far more egregious fanservice than that that occurs more frequently on other anime.

Kill La Kill's is more over the top (but not as sexual) compared to most anime this entire year....

Most involve very sexual things yeah, but only Kill la Kill makes the sexual fan service over the top WITHOUT the focus on having 'actual' sex unlike other anime.

The worst kind of plot is where they tried to combine both "plots" and **** it up. **** you Gargantia.

combine both plots?

Plots of what?

Yeah, I REALLY REALLY dislike anime that mix up stuff without doing it properly.

Valvrave the Liberator was a great example

**** you Valvrave and **** you to every character in that show. You sucked. Your themes and metaphors were bad, and you should feel bad.
