Hope I can visit Venice again before it's submerged -_-

Last time I went was around 1 1/2 years ago. Parents went recently and said water levels went up.

Omamori Himari ended. D'awe. After all these years.

I'm wondering. Are there any translated Kill La Kill Doujins out there? I've been craving for some more.

I remember reading it a few years ago and stopped because I was at the most current chapter

You know that feeling of something that holds no monetary value? I guess I didn't know how that felt until now.

Every single time I see my Code Geass swag stickers. I swell up with absolute fanboy-ism. I guess thats the sign that says that Code Geass is literally my most fav series ever. I swoon every time I see the sticker on my laptop.

Neppu Bushi Road

Granted, this show has to accelerate EVERYTHING by 3x to 5x faster as its trying to push a 12 ep (at the very least) season into the length of 3-4 episodes.

I won't deduct any WTF points from it jumping through schiit really fast.

But one of this anime's greatest FAILS was one of the themes of Space Dandy ep 1.

Where.....all the emotional monologues .....AREN'T SAYING SCHIIT.

I've been waiting for this dumb girl to develop and realize and learn but she keeps on saying idealistic crap that DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. She isn't learning, and every new development (where the music changes and she comes out appearing changed, signaling a new change in her) comes out with her saying sentences that literally don't answer the question she was asked to review.

The series moving 3-5x faster than normal isn't helping the poor characters. As it creates an image that the anime(movie) is more fail than it actually is. I know I say I won't deduct any points from it from how fast this show is moving. Nut when you see WTF moment after WTF moment of logic fail and reasoning impediment along with weird changes in events because of how fast its moving. I can't help but give the anime a huge hit in points.

The anime movie also has a fail backstory. The anime literally is trying to abridge 12 episodes into movie length with all the events and things one would do and show in those 12 eps in movie time. This basically means that the backstory literally has no weight to it. Yeah, its kinda interesting, but its not well developed. The characters are also 'drag' and drop type characters which makes it feel even more 2D.

Also, this anime keeps destroying its main themes. The anime has already introduced two 'themes' and metaphors, but it continously wastes oppurtunity's to use them correctly and actually featured situations that undermined its own fricking themes???.... The counterpoint to this is that it may not have undermined it fully. Because this movie seems to be abridging what would have been a 12 episode anime. It may have created an illusion to the viewer that it was undermining the theme, when in reality, it was just that the characters are 'accepting' the theme at that point. If this was an anime of 12eps. This would be true, but the movie is doing it very very poorly.

When I was in Japan, I thought Bushiroad was a channel. Turns out they were a trading card company.

FINALLYYY!! YESSSSSS

Just formally finished Neppu Bushi Road

This anime debuted in Dec 31 2013 so it counts

Panda formally announces this movie to be 2013's WORST Anime Film

Overall score is a 3.5/10 on the imperial scale or an approximate 6/10 on the regular scale.

The beginning of this movie was great. It was written by the original person and his 'staff' after all. But then he died and his staff left.

The staff that made the movie as we see it is extemely lackluster. Yes yes. Nitroplus and Bandai visual COLLABORATED on it. But that may just mean financing or CG staff or animators. The main head honchos for this film had little to no credentials. The person with the most credentials was the Director. Check out his CV. His credentials only has 4 series that are 'relatively' well known and guess what. They are all yuri......

I don't let staff CV influence my opinion on a series (Valvrave's script was written by the genius Code Geass script dude) but man, was that a huge mess.

If this was a 12 ep anime, it would have been a LOT better. Probably a very average ranking anime(5/10 on imperial scale) which is quite decent already. But the sheer amount of flaws of this anime actually rank it below average even though it was 'structurally' sound.

What did you think of the Onegai series?

I only watched Onegai Teacher, but I thought it was moderately entertaining.

The main reason I watched it was for the OP:

Though honestly I prefer the remix:

I guess I just wanted to see what all the fuss I'd heard about it was. I wouldn't say it was great though. 7.26/10.

If you're talking about the 18+ kind, I do believe there are some in the usual places. ;)
