From what I understand, the Asgard and the LCD-2 arn't a good combination. I'm interested in playing with them, but am not interested in getting another headphone amp at the moment. However, theoretically they should drive fine whereas the LCD-2's impedance is only 60. This is probably a naive question but why is it that people say they need such demanding amplifier if they're not that hard to drive? I've looked around the forums and I see what they work well with and all that fun stuff but they never say why, so there's something I'm missing. Thanks for any insight.
