Swans mod kits question

Years ago I read that you could buy Swans speakers mod kits (M1's and others possibly) overseas and even have them assembled for you at only a fraction of the cost of buying them from an authorized dealer. My memory's hazy. I was content with my A5's at the time but I'd like to upgrade them in the near future and Swans seem like a logical step. Any info?

I'm very interested as well. Seems like audioinsider is the only place to buy them, and their prices aren't friendly for the speaker quality .

i just bought my swans MKIII from audioinsider and they are definitely not friendly in prices. At least 30-40% more than going rate.. but audioinsider is the only distributor for Canadians.. but they sound amazinggg

I think they're also just about the only one for the US. I saw some old newegg prices and they were about half of what audio insider charges. Pretty sad.
