Someone broke into my car and went through all my CD's but left them all!  It pays to have crappy taste.

Go figure... cops don't do anything...

This is sad.  I remember half-scowling at the Apple guy who was explaining the benefits of being able to track the person who would steal my iphone when I was buying one a month ago.  I full well expected this to be the normal course of events even if the stolen phone could be tracked.

I totally advise that you do NOT go there again or try to do anything yourself, you never know what these idiots are packing.  The only thing you do know is that they probably aren't very bright, and you can leverage that, somehow.

I'm thinking some Project Mayhem type of action, maybe send an explicit threatening letter to the local PD addressed from the perpetrator's address.  Get creative?

Personally, I probably wouldn't do anything.

That's a good idea. Blackmail the criminals. Reverse-psychology ;)
