Close vs open headphone, advice needed

Sorry I am a completely rookie in audiophile region, though I know a lot about digital music production.  Three years ago I bought a Sennheiser HD555 and I enjoyed it till now. I thought I will never come back to head-fi since I am really satisfied with the headphone. Things changed until I got a better audio interface......then I want better sound..better headphone...everything...

Okay, so I am really inclined to HD598 based on the good reviews online. My budget is below $200, almost pulled the trigger for HD598. But I wanna see if there is a better choice. I did like HD555, but what I really hate is there is literally no noise isolation. It's quite hard to listen to music in my kinda noisy office or at home. I can only really enjoy music in late night. So I am wondering is there a relatively great closed headphone that is at least superior than HD555 and still less than $200? I am inclined to neutral sound. And I do listen to a very broad range of music. Any advice would be great! Thanks.

Heya,

Look into:

Fischer Audio FA-003 (or Lindy, or Brainwavz HM5)

Shure SRH840

Ultrasone PRO 650

AudioTechnica A900

AKG K272 HD

Beyer Dynamic DT770 PRO

KRK KNS8400

No open headphone is going to provide isolation. Go closed back if you're in a noisy environment.

Very best,

Very best,

Wow, thanks man!

That's a lot of choice...   So which one would have the neutral sound? I am checking review for each one now. What do you think of the Sennheiser HD25-1 II? Also in this price range.
