Been a while since I have been around here, or bought any audio gear so I'm totally out of the loop in regards to what's popular these days.

Anything decent at a major retailer ( Wal-Mart works too )...

Trying to buy some ear phones for my dad for Christmas, left it too late.  Price range... up to $70 ish?

Thanks a lot everyone!:)

Semi-open headphones

Panasonic RP-HTF600-S($34), with Beyerdynamic EDT 200 Velour ear pads($20).

Samson SR850 (made by Superlux) $40-$50.

The Panasonic has more bass and i prefer them over the SR850 and it's $60 for Velour ear pads for the SR850.

If you get them mail order, might be able to pay a few extra shipping for faster shipping.

EDIT, oops, guess you said ear phone, not headphone.

I never really liked the selection at FutureShop/BestBuy.. but if you really must, for $70 I only see the A-Jays Four and Klipsch S4 that's worth a look.
